  • Hi,

Recently I am having this issue whereby code 7 randomly pops up when using mytvonline2 and also stbemu for example.

It happens randomly throughout the day and doesn't work for an hour or more or less for example and then I try later and it works.

I noticed that the portal url does not work eveven on my pc or phone connected to the same network.

When i switch to mobile data it works

I tried cloudflare 1.1.1.1 and it worked for a short while but it stopped working. Now I tried protonvpn and so far it kept.

Is there something I can check, from my router or maybe firewall, is it the ISP or could the iptv provider be blocking me somehow when im using my public ip?

    Thank you:smiling_face:

Sounds like ISP, because when you use VPN then it works (other dns, other ip and stream data encrypted, isp doesn`t know which data are in exchange).

There are many Provider urls out there on ISP block list, solution in that case is always VPN.

I can't understand the patterns though. With 1.1.1.1 I got the error after an hour or so and now even with a VPN, I got the error after 2 hours. I switched off the VPN and now it's working again. What is happening?

  • What to say, your ISP have bad routing but also your Provider could have bad routing. If with VPN the same issue exist (first you said it works with VPN) then it could be also the Provider. Network, ISP and Provider must work correctly to have nice IPTV.

    What can you do?

    1. Establishe with your phone Hotspot wifi connection and watch few hours. If all is fine you can say Box and Provider are ok but ISP not.

    2. Restart your Router (Power off and after 10-15 sec. power on again). Test again.

    3. Ask your Provider for new url and login data if XC Api in use and if Stalker MAC /ID sub. refresh.

I am still having the issue, provider refreshed too. Will test with mobile data again. Is it possible something from the router?

  • Is it possible something from the router?

Sure, Router could also be the issue.

I had an Eero router. It has software within to block malicious websites from their own list. The fix was to turn off this feature in the router or leave it on and add an exception to allow the URL for your service. Both fixes worked for me with the same type of issue. The point is some routers have software to block what they believe to be a threat.

Thanks for info. I knew there is a firewall on router.

But also block lists i didnt know.

You can see, it can be a lot of things that iptv wont work on your box.

    Internet, router,wrong credentials etcetera...

    Wow!
