Z11 pro max, shutdown initiated

Hi Guys

I have just moved house and turned off my z11 pro max and packed it away, when I went to set up the box in my new house, the remote won't work and the box won't turn on, it's staying on the red light. I managed to get it to turn on after u turned it off at the wall but it now saying "shutdown initiated".

I have replace the batteries in the remote but it still doesn't work, I am getting some red flashing lights on the remote. I have ordered another remote, any ideas

Any help would be great

Remove the IR extender cable and try again. The IR extender cable is optional and shouldn't be used in most installations

i have already removed the IR extender, I am wandering whether the issue is with the remote because the light on the remote is flashing red constantly and doesn't operate the box on more.

Seems like a button is stuck on the remote.

Try to press all of the buttons on the remote one-by-one to find the stuck button and try to un-stick it.

Try first 175n `s idea. Which Remote BT1 or IR1?

The shutdown countdown starts because your box was powerless.

Hi

I am not sure which remote it is, it came with the box. I have ordered another one from flea bay, it should be here soon.

The issue is defo the remote, I took it apart and there does seem to have some residue in the remote, so I am wandering whether the batteries have leaked. I remote the plastic cover which is placed directly on the board, I had a mess about with the remote and it intermittently worked but with issues.

I will keep you posted once the remote arrives

The BT1 will not have the 4 white colored tv control buttons at the top just below the tv/stb buttons on it, plus The Bluetooth BT1 remote will have BT1 universal written in blue color at bottom of remote. I agree that there has to be a button stuck on the remote somehow.

Same Problem here! I buy a new formuler last fews week....to replace one i have. the box was dead under 1 year! Now i have my second box flash red and don't want to power up!!! Wow what kind of JUNK box is it at 269$ cad!!! Some one have a idea how to bring back to life before i broke the box?

I will not comment now your frustration but you have new box and can give it back to seller. Buy somewhere else if first box came also from same seller. btw. it is not normal what happens on your side with this two boxes, i meant that the possibility that both boxes are faulty is simply not normal.

How ever, i have one question and maybe idea: Were both boxes connected to the same socket and is there a possibility for a friend to check the socket?
