My Z8 pro became slow

    I have a z8 pro for a few years now but it became very slow; especially in MOL2.

    I mean it’s not as reactive as before. For example if I want to list my channels it takes 5 seconds; same if I want to change any channel.

    It is not so slow outside MOL app.

    And I can also add that I don’t have many apps installed (like 3 more than what is by default).

    Any thoughts on what I can do, please ?

    Have you closed all background apps?

    Do you regularly/have you ever cleared the cache on the device?

    How long does the box stay on idle? Do you always shut it off when not in use?


    My best guess is that you have never cleared the Cache and it is causing the processor to sift through endless amounts of now defunct data. Try clearing the cache and doing a reset of the box.
