That's really strange, isn't it?Remove app.
Reboot device
And install this one?
Don't know if it's a newer version yet. But you can try. Im not home now.

I already tried what you suggested. I noticed that version 1.0.3 was already available in the Market. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. As soon as you open the app, you immediately get a screen saying that the device is not supported, and you can’t do anything from that point on. The only way out is to press the Home button on the remote.
-
I see that version 1.0.4 is now available. I’ll give that one a try as well.
Update:
Yesss!! It works!! Apparently they had already noticed the issue.
Version 1.0.4 does work on the Z11 Pro.
Will you also update the version in the market? -

Yes, that’s a good question! Who is actually responsible for this, and are they aware of it?
The SmartTube version had been outdated for a while. -

The SmartTube version had been outdated for a while.I just had an update today on SmartTube,i installed it and its still working, although there was a warning that the app would be withdrawn due to security reasons!
As far as apps in market it is entirely up to Formuler to keep them updated, but as i understood from SAM,this would cost to much time and human effort,to keep it updated(keep in mind Formuler is a relatively small company)
Nevertheless,i think certain apps should be updated-like YT&Smarttube and VPN apps- regularily to the latest versions to prevent problems ,as they now occur.
Note that not everyone wants to use Google Play, but prefer the privacy of Formuuler Market

Hello, I'm also having the same problem for several days. I've tried everything: factory reset, VPN in various countries, factory reset again, changing different connection types, and nothing works. I also installed TizenTube, which works, but it's not compatible with MYTV3. I think Formuler is losing credibility. Previously, it was a problem with TeamViewer starting with model 11, and it still doesn't work. Now it's YouTube. I also think Formuler should pay more attention to this type of important application and keep it updated to avoid these kinds of issues. If you happen to have a solution, please share it. I have an open store and I'm losing customers to these boxes.

In formuler market you can find smarttube.
The one from formuler market app (green logo and white trolly) is functional with trailers in mytvonline3.
If you download it from officia website and sidelaod it, it works, but not via mytvonline3... strange, but true.
Mytvonline3 goes to Formuler market to the smarttube app.
Why it don't just open the app? I don't know.
For trailers via mytvonline3, delete smarttube and download it from formuler market. Then it works.

Hi,
It would be great if Formuler could quickly release an update for the Z11 Pro, as YouTube is one of the most widely used apps across all platforms. It's a real shame that a quick solution hasn't been found to a problem that has been going on for several months, as I think it's preventing a lot of people from returning their devices after purchase because of this issue.
SmartTube is a good solution, but it's not suitable for everyone, and I can understand that.
For my part, I switched from the Z11 Pro to the Z12 Ultra solely for this reason... €200 is a lot to pay for YouTube, but it's an app I use for several hours every day, so it's essential for me.
I didn't need the Z12 Ultra, I could have stuck with the Z11 Pro, which suited me perfectly, but circumstances forced me to change.I still hope that Formuler will release an update soon to fix this problem, so I can take my Z11 out of its box and use it 🙏🏻

First: it's not a Formuler problem. A forced update what GOOGLE DID, did youtube to be broken.
https://github.com/reisxd/TizenTubeCobalt/releases/download/v1.0.5/cobalt-arm.apk
Try this! exactly the same interface as youtube!!
Or SmartTube: a simply version of youtube. https://github.com/yuliskov/Smart…tube_stable.apk
Try them both, and see which one you keep.

If Google break it's self, i say it carefully... but i think the do it by purpose, cause it's android aosp and not device certified android, so not the official AndroidTV or certified Android like on a phone...
But who knows, maby will google turn it back. Maby it's a google/android bug. That can also, cause a forum user say that Youtube was disappeared on his Formuler GTV. And the Formuler GTV has the official AndroidTV software and is certified!
So it's possible that's it a mistake by google...
...we only can wait...
I will try later the day to install youtube on my z11 and z12. (I deleted YouTube with adb app, cause i don't use it because the commercials)
And i will try it and watch it the coming week if it installs and stays on my device.

Thank you for clarifying this issue.
For your information, I reset the Z11 Pro several times and tried several different APK versions of the YouTube app, but this never solved the problem.
The next day, I bought the Z12 Ultra and YouTube worked instantly without any problems using the latest version available on the Google Play Store.
It was also in the news that Youtube have big problems, let us hope it will be fixed soon.
It's good to know that this is a general problem not necessarily related to Formuler directly.
Let's hope the problem will be resolved soon!

Please try to install Tizentube from Market on your home screen.
didn't know it exists. thanks its amazing

I also uninstalled YouTube from Formuler, but when I open the video it says "YouTube not installed."

Do we know if this YouTube issue will be resolved for z11 pro?
The work around for me is TizenTube to replace YouTube and smart tube to allow trailers in mytvonline as TizenTube is not an option for trailers.
Only remaining issue is the tutorials in help centre are rendered pretty much useless.
So far z11 pro max and z12 ultra are not affected by this.

I believe this was prompted as an update from the installed version I got from above.
But both versions worked fine on z11 pro BT edition.

i have this
Same with Z8 Pro box. Have not been able to solve this, no way to uninstall YouTube update. YouTube/google message is that Android 7 and 8 are no longer supported.
Does anyone know how to get YouTube working again on Z8 Pro? Not interested in alternatives like TizenTube or SmartTube. -

Hi,
I'd like to bring this topic back up again.Wasn't Formuler supposed to release an update to resolve this YouTube compatibility issue? I understand that an update doesn't happen in a week, but this topic dates back to September 29, 2025, and when I searched Reddit, I found that the first problems appeared more than five months ago.
I understand that alternatives such as TizenTube and SmartTube exist, but many people want to use the official apps (yes, we know there are ads, but like many others, I think we don't care).
For devices that cost at least €80, this is really a shame... YouTube is the most used app in the world, let's not forget that.
Do you know if the issue of YouTube compatibility is still relevant?
Thank you.

Understandable, but please understand also that Formuler have sometimes to wait for third party fix and such things delays everything.
