KPN key when there shouldn’t be and exclamation point on wifi

    Hi formuler team, long time fan


    I have two z8 pros in the same building. One is giving issues where there is the VPN key despite having no VPN. The other box does not have this key. The problem z8 also has the exclamation point on the wifi logo despite countless toggling, restarts, blogs etc over many months.

    I looked over my wifi settings.

    I actually have two wifi networks. I’ve forgotten the networks countless times and they always have an exclamation 90% of the time


    Despite this. YouTube does work, and mytvonline2 has worked. But the last few weeks it’s gotten worse


    Youtibe for example loads 10%-60% of the homepage thumbnails and then won’t play a video until loading for a minute


    MyTvOnline2 (auto launched) will spin and say waiting for network connection (3/) and time out all while waiting for the wifi (almost always showing exclamation, but connected)


    I have restarted both routers many time

    THE TIME goes from 8:00 to the correct time ! Meaning it does connect ! But then is super shaky !!


    The wired thing is the key when there should not be. Both networks have this. Never had a vpn.

    Anyone know what else the key could mean?

    Make sure you don't have any DNS apps installed/active. The key can appear when using DNS changer apps as well.

    If you can't figure it out, write down the important information from mytvonline and factory reset the device.

    Unsolicited PMs for support will be ignored.

    I know that some providers say that on there servers run vpn for security. Can it maby be then if you connect to mytvonline2 that it then appears the key logo? Or direct at startup without starting mytvonline?


    New router with builded in vpn?


    Anyway, contact for sure your iptv seller and let them set your account to vpn for sure, so you can always connect.

    Check in apps section in android settings for sure you didn't install a vpn by accident. Just for sure.

    It doesn`t explain the exclamation mark and this is always for me the indication that something is not correct, with DNS like 175n say, ip, router or router settings.

    Try your boxes one day at friends router and if there works all fine, then you have to search for reason in your router or ISP Connection.
