  • hi,

I understand there is a method of adding a provider and keeping the url hidden. Although the provider would have to contact yourselves and make this available, please could someone contact me to run through the process and expense please.

    Thanks,

    Josh

    Goodday my friend Josh,

    1. Go to Settings > Storage & Reset on your Z11.
    2. If a block is installed, you will see an option to "Check for configuration update".
    3. Highlight the configuration line, then press the 0 (zero) button 10 times on your remote. This will perform a factory reset and remove the block.
  • Did you test Lucky`s recommendation or did we misunderstood? Please explain in detail what you want to have, hidden url from Provider (molcfg edit) or what exactly?

    Did you try these steps??

  • Basically my provider has recently changed its server URL and are no longer giving out the URL and are insisting on everyone using their own app.

I explained that I have a formuler z11 pro box with mol3 that I would like to keep using but they would still not share the URL.

Having looked on a couple of forums. I thought it was possible to add a provider to MOL3 using a number/code that would preserve the URL but in order to do this, the provider would have had to set something up first and that there was an expense involved.

I spoke to my provider and said I may be willing to cover the expense depending on how much it would be.

I guess what I am asking is, is there a way I can continue to use the provider on mol3 with them keeping the url hidden and what does it require them to do or me to do?

Sorry, - hope that makes sense?

  • So there isn’t like a panelized version of mol3 that my provider can use which will allow users to add their portal without entering the URL?

Choose better provider. Providers who forcing you, you need to stay away.

It's your box! You decide what happen with it.

    Use my steps!!

I don't help you anymore. I wrote 3 times or so what to do. You won't listen. Then my help stops from here.

    Goodluck and goodday

Your advice is the opposite of what he’s asking for though. He’s asking on behalf of his provider to have a hidden url, whereas you’re telling him how to remove a provider lock.

Although I agree on changing provider

Url is standard hidden. Only see if you click on the eye.

Otherwise he should ask for the mol.cfg editor. And do it self if possible. Don't know if formuler give it to standard users.

Hidden as in not given at all by the provider, not hidden by a button.

”Don't know if formuler give it to standard users” :grinning_squinting_face: this is what he has been asking about this whole thread.

  • Lucky is the best. I dont know where he gets the motivation from but he really tries to help everybody here and ofc thats not easy and sometimes you get fed up with people. I respect him for what he does on this forum. Kudos to Lucky!

    Hello,
Install your provider's app on your phone. Then install "netcapture" (search for it online).
Watch TV on your phone and turn on "netcapture" at the same time. Your provider's URL will appear in the app. Make a note of it and add the URL and your codes to your formular in mol3.
    Enjoy!
