I've got several GTV's and I noticed that recently the Smarttube app on all boxes was uninstalled.
Reinstalled it with Downloader but I think it's odd. Is it due to a (silent) Android update?
Furthermore, all the GTV's show incidentally hick ups/buffering on several apps (i.e. NLZiet). On other devices (Apple TV, tablet) no hick ups.
Smarttube is still on my z11 and z12 this afternoon. So far i know is that it won't update anymore cause there is a problem with the signature. Others use the signature from Smarttube. They maker of it is beware of the problem and bring those days a new update out.
Can be installed over the old one he said.
I think he bring it out on github.

About the hickups...
Came it after you install a new app or so?
Do you use vpn?
I hope you use ethernet cable and no wifi?
Ipv6 is off?
At internet settings at private dns. Try dns quad9 and or cloudfare.
Then push fast on remote twice on home (house) button. You see all open apps. Push then red button to close them all.
Restart box due hold onn/off button for 2 seconds and choose Restart/reboot.

Don't install it with normal android installer, but download via playstore fx file manager and install it with that program or maby other apk installer. Then the smarttube icon appears after installing.

It is Google Android Tv OS and they don`t like smarttube, so everything is possible.
PA1NT and everyone who needs SMARTTUBE.
Remove first smarttube from your box.
Download the new stable smarttube. Put it on usb or so.

In google playstore search for
"fx file explorer" or "x-plore" app.
Download that app and via that app install the smarttube app!!
So start first "fx file explorer" app.
And via that app you can open usb and or where you have downloaded smarttube.apk
Install it via fx file explorer app or X-plore app.
(If you install it direct from usb and or the normal way it will install, but no app logo appears!
(That's the reason you need to install it via one of those 2 apps.)
Summary:
If you use the normal installer from google the app icon won't appear.
Install it via fx file explorer and or x-plore App.
I did it myself and a forum friend also that way, and it worked out for us.

The app had some security issues which made it disappear on Google certfiied devices.
I suggest you follow Lucky133 's steps and install the new 30.56 version.

No, it's a signature problem.
The smarttube creator bring this week a new app version out.

Installer files like .exe .msi. apk has all signatures/hashes. (That it are the original files, and not changed versions with virusses or modded etcetera)
