Beta Firmware 12.10.06 update for Formuler Z12 released.

Just noticed the title and the 1st line mention 'Formuler Z10 Series' instead of Z12.

Hi, please advice me on playing hdr content files on non-hdr display. Z12 ultra is not able to convert the hdr content properly into sdr. Everything is blownout. The same channel/movie plays perfectly on firestick 4k max with hdr option off but same is not true on z12 ultra.

There is a bug with HDMI CEC, because even when all options are turned off on the box, if on the TV it is active, it turns on the box every time the TV is turned on. I hope it gets resolved in the update.

That's what i also found yesterday. On tv off and box too. Before beta.

Never use it cec, but i turned on the tv and Z12 was booting up...

They fix everything from time to time.

The beta not fixed the ethernet issue of not playing on MOL3 let's hope the next update does as seriously considering sending it back

So often posts about returning your box! Just do it instead of treath with it. Such posts didn't make upcoming updates release faster. 🙂

I have four hdmi ports:

But it was before beta that it does. On my lg hdmi cec switch is off.

Just like on other devices.

Hdmi 1: Raspberry Pi 5 NAS

2: Z11 PRO MAX BT 1

3: XBOX series X

4: Z12 ultra

On all is hdmi cec off, and i don't use that function. It’s only with Z12.

It was before update already 100%.

The other devices like xbox and Z11 stays OFF

No, the problem has been there since the first day I bought the box. I only have the box connected to the TV (Samsung 55QN85D).

I'm using Sparkle TV on the Z12 at the moment, the fact you can watch a recording before it's finished is a bonus for me.

Had a restart on beta while watching a dv movie through kodi. Once the box restarted wifi wasn't working for a while. Could box restarts be something to do with wifi?

I don't know if it's been noted or if anyone else on the beta has this problem

When I turn off the TV for the night and the Z12 is left on standby, when I come to watch anything on mol3 the next time the the picture is stuttery and the only fix seems to be a restart.

If I have the Z12 set to power off then the picture is fine when the box boots up.

Hope I've explained that ok.

Some iptv providers throw you out after 4, 6 or 8 hours if you are not changing channel within that time.

But your provider not, maby it slowdowns speed to save bandwith. Maby other technology what they use. I don't know.

Mostly changing channel is okay and if not just restart MYTVonline3/refresh and or restart box.

If i let mytvonline3 on at night, i got the follow day black screen. The throwed me out automatically.

If i change channel i got automatic connected again. Some providers have that sort technology.

Others you need to reconnect/restart. I got 5 providers. At 4 of them i can change channel and it works again. Other got not that function and do i need to refresh or restart box.

I prefer restart box. Fresh start.

Now you explained it good.

I understand.

Beta is always on your own risk to install.

That's why the place always the warning together with a beta version. A beta can contains always errors.

Just wait for next beta or the final.

And in future my friend, best is to only install final versions. Beta is for testers.

You can make in mytvonline3 an backup with usb from settings and portals.

Remove mytvonline3

Restart box

Via formuler update you can install mytvonline3 again and import backup data from usb.

Any update on when beta is coming back?

I have a z12 ultra a few months now and had no problem upgrading to the beta version a few weeks ago but I just got another z12 from amazon and can't put the beta version on it, when I type 1339 it says beta not available, anyone have any idea why this is?

We now look forward to a new version of Z12 coming next year that will resolve the reported issues.

As far as I’m concerned, I’ve noticed that Dolby Vision is still not detected in .m2ts files by all players.

With Media Browser, audio is unavailable for video files that are exclusively in DTS, whereas it works with other players.

Hopefully a solution will be found for all of this in the next update!

My advice is: use unly kodi please.

With vlc player, nova player and mx player pro if you play a Dolby vision with thruehd atmos. And you speed forward 1 hour or so, the movie stops, and play the sound shattered and you get strang colors. Also box restart then. And mx player pro passthrough nothing (also if you have passthrough ON. A know bug of the software makers from mx player pro.

I'm talking about an .m2ts file (the raw version) of a movie. The .mkv files you're referring to are the REMUX, so yes, Dolby Vision will be detected normally on those, but the opposite is true for the original file.
