In both apps in settings you can turn on automatic updates.

Remove old apps first! then download those 2 apps here above. Puth them on usb and install on your box.

Download first the new apps i posted and install them.

In smarttube then when you start the app press on your remote to the left and you find menu. Scroll down to bottom and you see settings.

YouTube works perfectly for me what is the advantage of either of these? Am I missing something here

Yes, you missing something here. But that is normal if you don't know an app.

Tizentube is exactly like youtube, but without ads/commercials

SmartTube is the same but has a little bit different interface.

Give it a try my friend and choose one which is best for you.
