I cannot seem to enable wifi it turns on for a split second but keeps reverting back to disabled.

Disable ethernet, does it at least try to connect to your wifi?
Factory reset if none of the above works.

When this happen (with android phones) the Wifi Hardware is broken. And this device is also with Android maybe same reaction and action.
WifI hardware module not working anymore.

I have tried both still does not work. Looks like something is wrong with the software.

Do you use built in Wifi or USB dongle?

Understand, no built in Wifi. The described happens when the box doesn`t recognise the dongle. Did they worked in past or new dongles?

Plug in the dongle came with device and restart the box, then go to wifi and look if this works and show anything. If not, go to Android and try to activate again.
