Flashing on &off

this box is great especially for iptv but I keep coming up with error codes and have had to reset box numerous times but now it keeps flashing on and off while watching iptv, it just goes to a blank screen then picture comes back on, i have only added a VPN to the box this is driving me mad because this box is great but I'm having so many issues any help would be great

Bumping this thread to see of there has been any findings as to why it does this?

Recently bought a Z8 and loving the simplicity of the whole package with apps etc but just this annoying 'blinking' that occurring.

Sometimes happens every 5mins then it's ok but can do it on longer intervals say 15mins apart. Only happens from what I've found so far with the mytv online app.

Anyone??

Just to make sure were are not going to troubleshoot something already fixed in the latest releases: Which Firmware/MOL2 version are you using?

Try changing your HDMI cable or testing at 1080p 60 output.

The same thing happened to me with the supplied HDMI cable at 4k resolution output. I swapped out the (supplied) HDMI cable and now my screen does not flash black periodically.
