Can you test with other app on same device? stbemu, vlc, smart iptv, etc...

It works OK with Smart IPTV.

Smart iptv app has it's own epg data.

Mevi is right
Try with Tivimate app to compare, but i think you just got Provider with not good epg database. There are some known not using UTF8 chars, result is such words are missing in channel description but included in detailed epg. This would work normal if the Provider change the setting UTF8 to default. This is not Box issue, it is Provider issue.
