I have asked this before and never received a proper explanation. I have a 64GB sd card that fills up with nothing on it. I have formatted this with rufus many times. But it fills up with nothing all of the time.

Did you exactly formatted like in the Article and rebooted the box once with inserted card? The box creates after format and connect all needed folders.
-
Yes it is still filling up with nothing. I do not understand why
-
It has been doing this for 2 year's.

It has been doing this for 2 year's.
It's not filling up that quick then or is it huge LOL

I have formatted this card many times. I cannot be the only person with this issue.
-
its probably filling up with time shift turn off time shift see if it helps
-
I do not use time shift haven't for a long time.
-
Not sure what to say at this point. Kind of useless to have an SD card that keeps on filling up with nothing.
-
I have turned shift time off will see if this keeps on filling up.
-
Turned off time shift which I do not use for now seems to work not filling up the card
-
Turning off time shift seems to work. Since I have not used time shift for a long time not sure why it fills up if I do not use it when it is enabled

I have the same problem. My sd card fills up with nothing. I have timeshift enabled and that is why I have the sd card in the first place. I have also had a 500gb external drive fill up with nothing. Tried different formats ntfs, fat32. Nothing solved the problem.
-
My external hard drive never filled up. I now have the Z8 the guide is a lot nicer same as the menus. Not bashing the Z7+ but a nice change to the z8.

my z8 gets locked out of my services....my z7 never ever got locked out, so its an issue
