Did you try to set epg on UTC or adjust the epg offset.
I have the same issue with the EPG 5 hours ahead. Should the EPG offset be set 5 hours (-) or 5 hours (+)?

This depends where you are (time zone) and where your category's comes from. Set first -5 if ahead, connect, check EPG and then you will know if ok.
Could it be the problem since last update? I have 1 hour wrong can adjust but think it is not from the server
I also have the same problem with my Formuler z8 pro all programes are 1 hour ahead so say bbc one news startes at 8 o'clock but on EPG it startes till 7 O'clock why!? is that, is there anything I could do to change this

Check your GMT settings -> Date & Time
I've found that current code resolves to correct GMT. I'm using NTP for current time, and have told it what time zone I'm in. If you're in a time zone/GMT area that doesn't follow DST you may find it helful give it a different offset and be done with it.
With epg displayed
local time top right is correct
but guide is hours off. 3,4 more late.
Anyway to fix ?

Change to EPG UTC in connections menu and use offset if necessary.
