I don't know if this will help you, but I am very keen to get my iptv work good. I have had issues with channels suddenly dropping out, freezing and then jumping or not load at all. Of course, this could be a provider issue, but if that is ruled out you're stuck with two things, the z8 pro (with mol2) and your router. Tuesday I noticed these small jumps and channels just stopped working and this is what I did
Like you I tried to restart the z8pro but that didn't solve the problem. I then uninnstalled the MOL2 and disconnected the box. When starting it up again there was a software update and of course, that was the MOL2. I innstalled it, disconnected my router for 2-3 min and restarted it. Wednesday I had none of these problems. That could be temperary, but because the app is software and the router is full of electronics this could happen. It is not the perfect world when it comes to internet and apps and it is annoying. But as long as it is build like this we got to live with it.
Try this sollution and let me know how you get on.
Try with VPN on, perhaps your ISP has started shaping traffic to your IPTV provider.
What has changed since yesterday
1. Could be the connection with provider, try to use other protocol for connect with provider ( Protocols are: Stalker MAC/ID, XC Api and m3u Playlist).
2. Restart your router and try both inet connections, Ethernet<>Wifi.
Like Mevi wrote, please install tivimate on same box, try and compare.
i get no pic and no sound on all portal protocols, epg channels budgets works, but no picture no sound on all
protocols exept playlist m3u working only,
this happens to all mol1 and now also mol2 boxes since last update.
tivimate works xc api like a charm.
gse other apps and old mag254 on stalker also ok
but new formuler boxes mol1 and also mol2 no work on xc api and stalker.
portal epg channels load but no imagen and no sound
It is full backup, so yes, should be saved.

should be no need to make backup. My list is still there after reinnstalling the MOL2 app
Next time this happens, I'll try it one step at a time starting with MOL2 app. If that dosn't do the trick it is the router who messes up

last night my picture started lagging/hanging/breaking up so as I said I started with un-innstalling the MOL2 app, powered the z8 pro off, waited for 2-3 mins, powered it back on, innstalled the MOL2 again and fired it up. It worked nice again! So, is the app unstable? Could there be a bug somewhere? Or is it just what a software do from time to time?
I think you need to empty your cache from time to time. Installing the app as soon as it start lagging, thats way too much.

Catch is not a problem. I do that every day. Even when I forget to it's only 10-15mb catch and that shouldn't be a problem
I also suspect my router to mess up some.
Yesterday both wifi and ethernet connection stopped working. I unplugged it and replugged it and it worked fine.
Got a netgear nighthawk RAX50 router. It should be good, but is it stable enough?
Do you guys have a good proposal for a router?

Tuesday night picture started lagging and everything was strange to watch.
Uninnstalled and reinstalled MOL2 and everything was all fine again.
Can anyone explain this?
Is it MOL2 or can the router mess things up?

What say this to us? If both, Mol2 and Tivimate laggs, then it is Provider issue!
