BETA Software Update for Formuler Z8 Pro, Z8, CC, Z Alpha, Z+ Neo released.

Firmware Version : 1.6.0 BETA

MYTVonline 2 Version: 7.15.0 BETA

WARNING:

Install and use at your own risk. Software cannot be rolled back after installation.

If serious errors occur, please do factory reset.

Please keep in mind, this is Beta and could have also bugs or act unstable, it is for testing and not for productive use 24h with the box.

If you don`t want to test, please wait until official comes out. No Forum support in other threads if beta is in use, beta issues should be discussed only in this thread.

HowTo Install:

Home Menu -> Software Update -> press "0227" -> Red Icon and Beta Test SW appear (right corner) -> Press Red Button -> Now is the Firmware and Software shown, press "OK" button for install.

The install process and reboot works automatically! Please don`t turn off the box or plug out the power supply, could damage the box. The reboot after update needs always much longer than usual, please be patinate and let the box finish the install. If necessary reboot later once again.

Beta FW 1.6.0 discussions only in this thread here. Other open threads with Beta issues will be deleted instantly!

If you have issues with update app, please go into market and update your update app first and try then with beta FW and SW update!

Changes:

There was a change in selecting the external player option which will only show OFF if you don't have other players installed.

Install the external players and check again in MOL2 > Menu > Settings > External VOD player

Here is a bug report about this FIX :

FIX: Custom configuration PIN stopped working

What happened :

Despite an update check performed correctly, the "invalid config file" tab is displayed.

It should simply show that a more recent config file was not found.

Cannot ffw on z8pro on 4K vod library after update & cannot change external VOD player? It’s just stuck on off? Also mytvonline2 keeps crashing when you go into VOD movies but not series! Bug in the system somewhere guys. Any chance of going back to old update? Thanks.

Fixed the mytvonline2 crashing when going into VOD movies by deleting my sub & re-doing. Just the external VOD player issue stuck on (OFF). & the ffw on 4k which isn’t a big issue. Might have to reset for the external vod fix. Same issue on my partners box at her home. So tested on couple of Z8’s after update.

Channels go really slow when I change from one to another, and everything feels slow.

I reset to the factory setting and get following: Software actual v1.6.0 IPTV version v7.12.4 . Is this software not too old? When I click on the app MYTV the software update windows appears, I dont know what to do.

I also realize that when I change a language in a channel the audio fo the new language is not present.

This is beta update, you need to enter 0227 to see the red button and with pressing red button beta update will appear.

Hello,

I’m new here, today my device suddenly went on a black screen. I updated my device with the recent update and everything was working fine until now. Mytv2 stays loading at 10% and gives an error. Can anyone please help?

Delete old portal and make with same data new one. One user reported he was able to solve same issue you have with this.

No, it doesn`t, once installed firmware stay. Firmware + MOL2 must match with each other.

Crashing on VOD page has been fixed. Install the latest update and check if the same happens
