Official Software Update for Formuler Z8 Pro, Z8, CC, Z Alpha, Z+ Neo released.

Firmware Version : 1.6.1

MYTVonline 2 Version: 7.15.2

WARNING:

Install and use at your own risk. Software cannot be rolled back after installation.

If you have issues with update app, please go into market and update your update app first!

Changes:

There was a change in selecting the external player option which will only show OFF if you don't have other players installed.

Install the external player and check again in MOL2 > Menu > Settings > External VOD player

The internet is fine ican use youtube store and other apps , the isp is not blocking as i have a Z8 pro working with the same isp without the new update . I think it has some thing to do with the new update checkthe new message it says the firmware info error .

I did the factory reset and is the same I cannot even go to the menu .every thing works well except my tv onlline2 . Please fix this .

I tried every thing but mytv online 2 is not working .Luckily i had a back up of my Z8 from Sept 25 and i restored my box with it and it works now . I am sure the new update has some bugs in it . Please check it and do the needful .

Don't know if it is solvable but this happens Z Alpha without any new apks installed.

Same here, Z+ neo and i get error 18 or 17/0 when it tries to install. Mytvonline won't load since that update, please fix it ASAP.

I had this issue too. The update changed the date and time on my box to 17 September 2017. After correcting this, EPG works fine again.

Tested now with Z neo and was able to reproduce same, looks like there is some issue with insufficient storage on Z Neo+. Firmware installs but MOL2 have not enough place to be installed. Guess, it could be something with temporally saved update files on box and background.

Temporarily workaround i found: After Firmware Install and error message installing MOL2. Go to Settings -> Apps -> find the biggest App (150MB and more) , delete all Cache + app-data and then deinstall this. Reboot the box once and try again with MOL2 update, should work. Later try again to install your deinstalled app.

I have customers all over my country, should I do what ?

Do you think it is possible to erase this update from your OTA servers and inject the old one with a new header so that boxes get it again ?

Sam I've done as suggested but still no good. In fact the only apps I have installed are Audio Optimiser (5.75MB) and MOL2 (63.57 MB).

I've cleared the cache for all the "System apps" that I could but it's still erroring.

I literally just use the Neo for MOL2 so there's nothing else on it to consume any space.

I posted temporarily fix that i found after reports in this thread, forwarded the problem to Formuler directly and that is all i can do as Forum Admin!

I`m not developer + it is weekend for the devs and all of us, otherwise would they do something and start with hotfix.

Didn`t say anything, all ok I understand fully the problem and the frustration through such situation, would like that such things never happen, but it happens. Formuler is informed and i guess on Monday they will find solution for this. Until then it is better for Zneo + users not to update.

hi all, yesterday i receive some error with this update (18, not enough space,...)
I try a factory reset and it's work but i lost my 3 personal favorites directories, and my favorites in vod and series it's normal (i have a formuler neo, on my zx i don't have this problem when i use factory reset)?

Hi,

If I am not mistaken should happen on any box if you do factory reset as you do clean all the cache and data from applications.
