Hiding groups fault for live tv

    I have the following problem with hiding groups from live tv. Previously it worked fine, so I think it's a firmware problem.

    I use the adjust option inside the connections menu option.

    Hiding groups in vod/series is not a problem. But hiding groups from live tv, results (after some loading time) in an 'empty group' notification popup. After returning to live tv, live tv is empty en gives a black screen. Only a reconnect helps bringing the channels from live tv back.

    But still I cant edit the live tv group. Ive done a complete factory reset, but the problem remains..

    Anyone has a solution? I use a z8.

    The best solution is to deactivate the not needed groups on "provider dashboard", login and declick not needed. The sub. accept this instantly and on next MOL2 reconnect you load from provider the new channel list. Hiding category's on Mol2 side and reconnect with the provider seems not work well in your case, maybe the script from provider doesn`t accept the command not to show hiden categorys and this result in faulty empty group.

    Btw. It is MOL2 option (SW) and not firmware section.

    Same issue with one of my providers that includes VOD Movies and TV series and Live TV " all in one"

    Depends from Provider, the bigger ones give all customers own dashboard login so the users can set the sub. and edit channel/category list by own. Ask your Provider.

    Have had the exact same problem on my z8,it's always been hit and miss whether it work,got the z10 today and thx God it didn't have this issue
