No subtitle showing up.
If you rip/download a movie/serie with *.VTT (subtitle) files and use MKVtoolNIX V68.0.0 to make them together with the mkv file
Formuler standard player dont show subtitle at all. You must change Vod-player to a player that support VTT in the mkv files.
But if you first convert VTT files to SUBRIP (srt) I use subtitleedit, and then make them together with the mkv file the subtitles shows up.
Possible for the dev. to take a look at this?
Tested on...
Formuler Z Alpha, Firmware v1.6.5 and IPTV v7.15.4
Formuler Z8 Pro, Firmware v1.6.5 and IPTV v7.15.4
No subtitles with Formulers standard player.

1. Please say which player app you are using. Are you talking about the built-in player when using the File Browser app?
2. If yes, why do you prefer to use that player and
3. why is it an issue to use a 3rd-party player?
In my opinion, the interface of the built-in player is quite bad compared to MX Player, VLC, KODI, etc.

There is nothing wrong with using 3rd party players but it would still be better if the standard player managed all the subtitles. I think many users would appreciate that the standard player can handle this, not everyone understands that they need to use an external player to get all the subtitles. I think like Danne, this is what the developers should look at.

Agree with you,im using implemented standard player too, works good for me, exept subtitles,so a good working standard player would be great!... and would use less resources than external players.
