Is much more simple than newer versions...

with the first rcu from Z8 no but with such marked as 02F9 yes. The commands changed.

I got one of the 02F9 remotes with my Z11 as a "bonus". It does not seem to do anything. The white light on the Z11 never blinks. Is there a secret to get it to connect?

Put fresh new Battery`s inside
Tested 02F9 now and works fine with z11. -
These are fresh new batteries! The STB button lights up red when I press any button. Not a big deal for me, I have ordered the GTV-BT1.

Might be a fake remote or an old 00FF remote.
If it doesn't have FORMULER and 02F9 printed on the top of the remote, it is fake.

happened to me. thats why I ´ve asked...
have the newer version bau prefer the simplicity of the old remote.
cant the devs make the old ones compatible with the new z11?

The old ones are simple with direct button control, no multi functions. Newer are programmable and have multi functions that user can change with Formuler remote tool.

No programmable interface like IR1 and BT1 + other remote commands. So, no its not possible.
