Trying to update software, but keeps telling me I don't have enough internal memory.... Have not downloaded any extra apps since owning the device. Tried deleting the cache. And have deleted both YouTube and vactory downloaded bon as unused but still no luck... Any suggestions anyone please?

Z+ neo? Try to delete cache from all apps, there must be some app consuming a lot of storage. Last step would be factory reset.

Hi.

I updated my Z8 Pro yesterday. Installation was successful. Upon reboot however I noticed the time on the homepage showed 02:00. MyTV Online wouldn't launch correctly, it would just show a black screen. I tried some other apps I've installed (YouTube, fast.com) but they wouldn't launch either.

I can work around it by manually setting the time in the settings rather than using the automatic option, and everything works again. But just thought I'd share my experience in case others have it too.

Edit to add: after a couple of reboots this issue has fixed itself. Possibly something on my ISP's side to blame... I dunno. Anyway all working as before now.

Before update all channels worked and now sin state channel is vod despite being in live TV section ...what software change has caused this as the channels I require can not play

Since upgrading my Z+Neo, I have started getting a message saying New Configuration detected. Apply and restart or Apply later.

A couple of days ago I chose now as I thought it had to do with the software update.

After doing so I lost everything, biggest piss off was all my favorite's.. So I spent considerable time going through and adding best I could all I had. Thought that was it.

Suddenly this afternoon I had the same message again so I picked later. This evening after turning on the message was back.

Anyone else getting this??? If so why? Anyone have any idea.

I am afraid to click yes or I may lose everything again. Is this going to just keep going on and on.......

Do you use provider box and is this changed or branded from them? If yes, then this changes and configuration change comes from them.

Formuler Z-alpha....

At sw update... 80 out of 176 MB then freezes....
Completely reset software data... Internet router restarted....

Gets to 80/176 and thats it.........

Any info?

ok....

eventually it downloaded all info.... now its stuck at File integrity check.. waited 30 mins......

restarted box and still 2 updates to do.....

1. Try to free space and delete cache from few installed apps.

2. Go to Settings-> Apps -> Software update app and delete data and cache, if possible uninstall also updates from this app.

3. Restart the box and try again with update. If VPN in use, turn it off until you update successfully.

It Finally updated!!

Didnt need to reboot anything nor remove anything!

Sadly we will never know why it didnt update at the bigining!

Did you try other resolution?

What are you using as TV, with Edge LED? Looks for me like Edge Led issue from TV.

Hi,

I noticed yesterday when on my Z8 that when im in TV Series and im scrolling through different tv shows and going in and out to check how many episodes/seasons there are, after i go into a few maybe 5 or 6 different tv shows the app will lock up and freeze or sometimes i get a message saying mytvonline 2 isn't responding and it gives me the option to close app or wait anyway of fixing this do you know??

Also i notices when this happens if i go into the app settings the app data for mytvonline 2 jumps from about 600 or 700k to about 900k or 1 meg.

I can fix it by clearing the app data or closing and restarting the app again but its a pain in the ass having to do this all the time if i want to scroll through tv series and go in and out of different shows .

It doesnt happen with the VOD's/ Movies just TV series would be great if there was a fix for this or some setting i could turn on or off?

Any help would be much appreciated thanks

Run the Memory Cleaner app and see if the problem goes away.

Do i need to keep the memory cleaner app running in the background all the time ?

I always put the Z8 into stand by mode when going to bed or leaving the house i never power it off fully.

The memory cleaner app can be removed from the recent apps list after you finish running it.

as my z8pro dosn't want to start up , i looks like the main software is damaged.

a factorie rest dosn't do anything.

If successful factory reset like in this article doesn`t work -> Factory Reset after firmware 1.2.71 and newer

then is something damaged. You can try with other power adapter (similar specs like original) to see if the power adapter is not the issue.

Otherwise you need new box since the guarantee is over i guess...

Where can I get firmware and transfer it to a USB stick?
