    Right, only on same Box possible. It was on Z8 possible but since new Android OS, if i remember well (OS9) not possible. Google did very much bad with this restrictions and rules in OS since 9. I can understand it on phone but on such boxes it is definitive superfluous.

    In order to prevent the box crashing when refreshing multiple providers/portals with huge content (each) I would like to see the option to set a refresh time per portal.

    That will enable me to stagger each refresh at a different time.
    So just make an extra menu option per portal where one can set the refresh time individually or can choose for the option to choose a simultaneous refresh time.

    Why have so much content? The countries you don't watch, you can deactivate them in Contentmanager and or contact your providers to remove the countries you don't watch. That's why it takes a long time to refresh all your content and epg.


    Why have asia, africa and russia if you don't look at it? (Example)


    I have 5 portals. Just my home country and usa on each portal. Very fast refreshing and epg updating. I contacted provider to remove all my countries except my homecountry and usa. Then i removed myself all the usa newsgroups. Only usa with Discovery channels and usa general.

    Here's a suggestion.

    Mytvonline seems to be falling behind other apps with the ability to login with a code.

    DNS is becoming something that should not be visible in the app. How about a panel or method to login with a code for mytvonline users.

    Username and password.

    They’re not falling behind at all, actually ahead of the game in many ways.

    There is a way to login with just username and password for the end user and no need to provide DNS. The way for this is usually advised if providers reach out to the Formuler team in the forum.

    Wow, lots of request. Mine is simple. Like on all androids there is a setting for a schedule restart. I sometimes get error codes on some of my streaming apps and I have to restart in order to get them to work. The power mode is not an option cause you cant record while the box is off. A restart once a week late night would be nice. Thank you

    Edit: You can have the box powered off and it will record.

    I use torguard vpn app. It says that always on is not supported. I would like to have support for that.

    Edit: The torguard app stays connected when powered down. When it is powered downed I see nothing leaving the box so I think it is doing it's job.

    In MOL3 when watching a channel and then pressing the center OK button, your favorite channel list comes up on the left of the screen. It would be handy to have a preview screen (kind of like a PIP preview) come up when you go over some of the favorite channels in your favorites list. Would be excellent for sports where you can PIP preview other channels to see if the commercial break is over before actually changing channels.

    1. Possibility to have more than 10 custom groups. I like breaking out to UK, Canada, US and Other with Network, Sports, Crime, etc

    2. It may just be that I do not know how to do this but ability to export favourites and custom groups to be brought into another server connection (bonus if unselected groups also included). The server used by my supplier goes down every month or so and I have to change to a new server. Updating the URL makes everything saved vanish. Similarly I have more than 1 device, all different logins but same server, and I cannot port over custom lists, etc as it always says it fails.

    3. On import if a failure is seen provide information as to what the failure is and possible cause / solution. See #2

    I have four recommendations

    1 - Please make the refresh contents setup more accessible, as others have recommended. Sometimes, channel lists do not load properly, and I'm assuming when a service has thousands of Formuler devices automatically attempting to log in at 5AM (being the default auto-refresh time), the server will fail to accommodate everyone - and customers end up with half-empty channel lists. I know this is inevitable, unless - somehow, a checksum-esque system is implemented, but other than that, please don't make it harder for the elderly to refresh, should they need to. Most people who are unable to contact their service providers, such as on weekends, end up without service for a whole day until it auto-refreshes again the following 24 hours.


    Edit: I know that users were informed to add ‘/‘ at the end of the portal, or remove it entirely. This doesn’t make sense to me personally as initially the EPG was caught, and it does get caught when refreshing manually, so I don’t see how this should solve the issue (which it hasn’t either way)

    2 - EPG not refreshing on m3u systems, I know it has been talked about, and workarounds offered. But a proper solution would be appreciated. We've resorted to MAC-based logins but some portals do not allow for cross line/mac sharing, so they would be unable to have multiple devices on a singular account (unless they emulate).

    3 - Please make letters with diacritics cross-searchable, i.e. For a show named Ángela , let the search parameters catch said show when someone type Angela, without the accent.

    4 - Please allow the DNS to be changed without forcing a deletion of favourites etc, especially if the username and password isn't changed, just like on MOL2. Some services have their DNS's blocked and it is a burden to inform clients that all their viewing history and favourites will be deleted.

    I know that some of these have technical limitations, but I'm also sure that if there's anyone who can think outside the box for an alternative solution, that it would be the Formuler team. We have thousands of boxes under our belt, and these are our biggest gripes at the moment. Other than that, thanks for the amazing software/hardware.

    Fix the ui please just like mtol2. Make it faster and clean up up some things. Last added movies/series put in one place not behind in horizontal in a row. Especially with the z11 pro version with 2gb ram it is sometimes a little slow lagging.

    Is it possible to build-in an option to shutdown the formuler AND tv outside of MOL3. So people can set a timer when watching for example Netflix. Please

    And the app still crashes sometimes after trying to import subtitles, installed the latest firmware.

    But sure, let's just ignore it and let our frustration run wild. We ignore the forum rules because who needs to read through something like that and we make our own rules (in someone else's house where we simply ignore the house rules but the homeowner does and pays a lot to keep it running). It's just the Formuler forum where we can get personal and tear down others without first asking how certain things actually work and what's behind it. No matter, just do it without thinking, as long as our frustration is gone.

    No, no and no again, nothing like that will happen here! I promise everyone that as an admin I have a duty to pay attention to something like this. The homeowner/Formuler has indisputable ideas about how the forum should be run and as an admin I am only obligated to that!

    Especially when posters from the competition get involved and only write bad Posts About Formuler boxes. With all due respect to the community members, who unfortunately are sometimes affected by deletion or other things.

    We are the first point of contact for users who need support or something else. The community thanks to many dedicated supporters, myself and the staff are trying to help. We maybe don't always have a solution, or see/read each post, but we try.

    If it doesn't work, the next instance comes -> forwarding to the ticket system and getting help directly from Formuler Support.
    But like always, sometimes are solutions so simple and comes fast and sometimes we have to wait for some update or fix. Like everywhere else too.

    In your post you threw in everything there was, according to which I would be the manufacturer, dev, support, admin, etc. with no vision and responsible if you do not get what you want.

    Just to inform you, you are totally wrong and this just shows that you have no idea! I`m only Admin and first Support helper here and nothing more!
    I forward required reports, reproduced Bugs, critical information and much more to Formuler.
    I am not responsible for!: Updates, consideration of all reports, what is new in the updates, what and when will be something fixed. This is all part of Formuler and the devs. where I'm barely involved.


    One more thing about this thread which btw., was requested by the community users from the beginning. They wanted to have a thread where they could post their requests centrally, without further discussions or questions. Posting, is this or that perhaps possible to incorporate etc. Devs. read and consider this thread when they have time, one or the other can possibly be incorporated in a different form or the same as in the request at a later date. A lot has already been implemented, but unfortunately you can't see it, everything posted is almost impossible to install or implement.
    Anyway, the thread was wanted by the users (starting with Z8) and stays too!


    But I think that you are as uninterested in the whole thing as if a sack of rice falls over in China.

    Since YouTube is still down on Z11's, we have resorted to setting up devices with SmartTube (since TizenTube cannot be set as a VOD trailer player in MOL3), however, SmartTube has recently been a victim of a security incident and the app has been remade with a new App ID/Package name. On Z10's market, the new SmartTube is available, but on Z11's market, it is still showing the old app. Can both MOL3 be updated so that it identifies the new SmartTube package name as a compatible Trailer player, and for market to host the newer version of SmartTube?
