Every time box is turned off, color space sett change back to auto. Very frustrating!

Auto should chose the best available setting between box and TV HDMI shake. Does it chose something wrong?

Picking different color space settings can really improve deep black settings, and remove that mottled look that you experience when the picture is very dark, for example at night or in a dark room. I don't think that there is any such thing as best setting because streams are so variable
Sure and i agree, is very good known for me
But is current setting from your box wrong or do you have issues with this? Because your TV can not show every deep colour setting shown on the box. Except you have really good tv that can handle all of them, the box chose not the best in auto mode and you have to set it manually.Why i m asking this? To understand and find out if the Auto Setting doesn`t chose the best profile, if hdmi shake is not ok etc.
I know there was some change to Auto few updates ago but i agree if the set profile after each restart change to auto and not save manually chosen.
Will test this next days and try to reproduce.

Ok, how ever, i tried to reproduce your issue, set to YCbCr422 10Bit, restarted the box several times, two times with power complete off and the settings never change to Auto.
Maybe factory reset could help.

I set to YCbCr422 12 bit and after 2-3 days it use to change to auto, i have better image with 12 bit than auto
