See the firtst post, i can be days or weeks for a gtv device to get update.
Then deactivate AFR if this doesn`t work correctly for you. With OS 12 is global AFR over all supported apps possible, feature from OS12.

I have tried all possible combinations but the end result is the same.
The smoothness of 60fps and 50fps live channels are not there anymore.
Also the video quality of the 25fps live channels has also decreased .

Bug found:
When you go to android settings, device preference, display and sound, screen resolution and then to color depth settings.
you can tun it off. And when you push the back button and then go back you can't set it back to on.
(Only if you set automatic best resolution back on)
I have been using Plex for a long time with my GTV. Since the last update, unable to close the Plex application. the video continues despite the return to the gtv home page. Previously it was possible to close Plex from the Android TV GTV home page. now not possible.

I had also no update yet, but i did a factory reset and after that the android 12 update came and i could update too 12.
Maybe this way will force the update and you could install it too.

Tried that also before but doesnt help.
I turned it on today and got it too.
Updated to android 12.
But now vlc player wont play noting from my nas anymore.
Installed again, factory reset etc.
After the 12 Update its broken.
On my third gtv i tested it too.
Vlc plays from nas.
Update to 12 and got black screen and closes vlc app.
When i open vlc and then go to nas it works.
All rights are on.

I can no longer find how before, the possibility of closing plex on the Android tv GTV home page.
Tab 2 times fast the house button (under ok button)

yes I know and I did. plex still continues. the plex icon should come on the home page of the gtv Android tv, as before and there we can stop it completely.

It seems since the update that we can no longer schedule a recording on a channel without EPG.

I forgot to say that a user of Z8 has the same problem.
Maybe it concerns all mol2 devices?

with plex 10.4.0.4843, personal mp4 video, not playable. here is the problem.
The only version I found that works is 9.0.0.31676, but you should not activate AFR de plex.
Sorry to say, but i was not able to reproduce your issue.

Indeed, it seems that we are only 2 (1 Z8 and 1 GTV) with this problem; it's not a global issue.

It is the menu where you can chose other external installed player for Vod and Series, if you want, Standard is internal MOL2 player.

Since the update I also experienced the same issue. The smoothness especially with sports games is gone. My older z7+ is running great on the same tv. Do you have a solution already??
After the update I no longer have access to Google Drive it no longer opens.
I can't view pictures or videos that I have stored in the cloud now.
I heard people who have devices with Android 12 having issues like this. I believe that Android 13 doesn't have the same issues.

Reinstall from google play and then check the rights good.

Otherwise wise wait for androidtv 13
since the last update, the lives on mytvonline 2 freeze and no more response with the Gtv remote control. forced to restart the gtv.

SAM, is there any way to revert to the previous SW version? To be honest the this Android 12 version doesn't really fix much for me, but the lag is too much. I was much happier with the older SW.
