Can I add Samusung functionality to the remote

    I dont think it is a matter of missing one button on your remote,but more a matter of programming the extra buttons that you can "toggle",I do not have a BT remote nor a Samsung tv,so i can only offer you the advice to install remote app from market and try to find out if swiching HDMI ports is a option.

    That's the whole issue. The remote app was automatically installed at start-up but the remote cannot be programmed, although it could be me. Pressing the TV button on the remote should bring it into the programming mode. No joy! Nothing happens. So yes, still missing the button :frowning_face:

    He is second on the member list as 175n Formuler Evangelist, i would not contact him directly,but wait untill he is online,as most of his answers have a note,something like "unsollicited requests for support by pm will not be acknowledged,all communication via Forum"

    Just be patient when he picks up your issue,or wait for an answer by SAM.

    1. Please do not disturb 175n with any support questions, he will answer when he have time, or think he should do it but he do not need to answer anything, there are staffs for this. He is the Boss here and communicate from time to time with us! So please do not recommend such things even if it is well-intentioned :winking_face: Thank you.

    2. Questions can be posted here in Forum and if not correctly answered or no solution, open Ticket on Formuler Support site.

    3. For programming the RCU we have two solutions (IR Mode RCU<->TV RCU) on backside of the Remote. This will only work if the TV Remote is not Radio Controlled RCU and in some cases like LG and Magic Remote the connection between TV and TV RCU must be first cut to be programmed with IR1-BT1.

    Second. For extra buttons there is Formuler Remote App so you can program Hotkeys.

    And last, i m not sure if the HDMI switch Button code from TV RCU in specific case like this, can be cloned to some Formuler RCU button. Some TV Models have static button and this can be then done only with original TV Remote. Try method 3. and if this doesn`t work then it`s not possible.
