    Do you have some other power supply with same specs like original? It could be faulty power supply if the box does nothing when you try factory reset.

    I have almost the same problem with my Z10 Pro Max, only I have the white light on all the time. The remote control cannot be used to turn the device off. You can remove the power cable. I have done everything, from all available videos and advice from colleagues on the forum. NOTHING !

    Still the same problem. I have even tried using the factory reset tool. Nothing helps.
    When I remove the cable and reconnect the power, the Z10 Pro screen appears for 2-3 seconds max and then disappears, the device is trying to read the file from the USB and the progress bar should come on. However, this does not happen. No signal appears.

    For some reason the firmware has been corrupted and nothing can be done.

    I would like to reinstall the factory software via USB, but cannot find it anywhere.

    And here is a request to the SAM administrator, can you help me with this?

    To make things funnier, after I bought it, I booted it up once and it sat unused for two years. Obviously the warranty has expired.
    When I tried to use it, what happened was as described. It started to boot up and after the LOGO flashed - no signal.

    ok, is bad situation but not hopples, hope i can help. Since the Box was for two years unused, the first thing you must do (when the box works) is update.

    The factory software you installed on usb stick and try to reset the box is wrong and not for this box!

    1. Please buy completely new battery`s and exchange. Do not connect the optional IR eye at this time, If not necessary then not later either.

    2. If the remote works with new battery`s, fine, then update the box.

    3. If the remote still not work, connect some pc usb keyboard to the box and after power on and visible home menu should come shutdown message, hit on ok or delete button, this stop the shutdown process. If internet connection available do update first.

    4. If you still need after this to factory reset the box, use this how to.

    I will try to do as you have written. With this keyboard connection, it may be a good idea, but in my case the main menu does not appear. Only the logo appears for a while and then a black screen for about 20 seconds and then a message that there is no connection (signal)
    At what point should I press OK? Maybe at the point where the logo disappears and there is a moment with a black screen.
    Maybe something should be displayed but for some reason the graphic is not visible.

    As for the instruction video, I've done it probably 10 times. The result is the same. So nothing

    Is it possible to upload new software via USB?
    After a hard reset the option is displayed... I just don't have the software to install :smiling_face:

    And one last thing. In which socket should I insert the USB plug from the keyboard ? It is on the side and on the back .

    Hdmi cable in box.

    Paperclip in infrared eye port. Push when you feel it click AND HOLD IT IN!

    Then plug in power.

    Wait till z10 logo.

    If z10 logo disappear you get paperclick back.

    You should in menu then.

    Always try many times my friend.

    Better 10 times then 2.


    In video if logo appears, then the man let the paperclip go when he see text.

    I don't have a USB keyboard and among friends also a problem these days. Maybe this week I will borrow a suitable keyboard somewhere.

    By the way I will ask. If I made a copy of the new device, which will get to me in the next week, would I be able to upload this copy to the Z10 device?
    Doram , that Z10 is the version with 4GB RAM and 32GB of memory.
    If such an operation is possible, then I will have two devices.

    NO, backup from MOL3 can not be restored on Z10 and MOL2, two different sw version.

    I do not know how to describe it , but I will write so:

    It was not the device that was the problem, but the Smart TV.
    When programming the TV I had to assign the HDMI output to another device. When I connected the Z10 or Z11 - TV read as an incorrect device and fought.
    The second TV is in the kitchen and there I connected the first Z10 - it started working normally, did the update and works without the slightest problem. I also connected the Z11 - same thing !

    Why didn't I try with another TV receiver earlier ???? I do not know ! I am simply ashamed because of this.

    It turns out that this device is not easy to kill and is crazy-proof :smiling_face:
