Maybe I have missed a setting, but is this possible on Z11? Nothing worse than upping the low volume level on one channel and then being blasted at high volume when you switch to another channel, or even another app? Automatic levelling or set by each channel / app would be great?
Volume levelling possible?

You are using Surround Sound, try with no Surround Sound + calibrate the volume on Box and TV (example. Box 80 and TV 15-20 depends from TV and the final volume you hear).

If only it was that simple, surround sound on/off does not change anything volume-wise. Most channels from my provider are AAC Stereo yet these widely different volumes are experienced when switching channels. Only a few channels are low, most are quite even, but it is those few that get turned up to hear them easily (compared to the sound heard on the others). I guess it could be a provider related issue.
It occurred to me that it might be good to have an automatic volume levelling setting in either Z11 or MOL3.

Try to ask your provider to fix the volume fluctuations between channels.
Try to see if your TV has built-in volume leveling
Z11/MOL3 doesn't offer this feature yet.

Does the z mini offer this volume leveling feature?

No, Z mini have the same MOL3 like Z11. How ever, smart TV`s , at least good brands have such option.

allen allmost all tv's has this option. That it normalize volume when one channel is louder than other.
Many if you tell your tv brand and type/year someone can already help you.

I have a really good Samsung (2022) model which has 'Adaptive Sound+'. Not quite automatic volume levelling.
Open apps on this smart Tv and the volume can vary, even with the setting on.
Channels on MOL3 can vary more, even between program and adverts within the same channel. Probably a provider issue, but I wondered if automatic sound levelling would help just on the Formuler box.

Has this been solved by now? Is something of volume levelling available by now on the Z11? Or is there an app that can always run in the background levelling the volume when switchting channels?

You have to calibrate first the loudness with Formuler remote (increasing up to 80-100) and then the loudness from TV so it match how you like.
-
I too would like volume levelling as what I think the previous posters are trying to say is that programs do not use constant volumes.
I my self have come across programs where the title volume is so loud you need to turn the volume down, but the the dialoge in main program is so much lower you have to turn volume up again.
so some kind of volume averaging would be ideal.

Try this:
1. You have to calibrate first the loudness with Formuler remote (increasing up to 80-100) and then the loudness from TV so it match how you like.
2. Then enable Auto Volume on your TV. Here is example for LG TV -> https://www.lg.com/us/support/hel…-20153215231163

that doesnt work, sound comes from Denon receiver., not tv.

Then check the Denon settings if same possible or not. IPTV Streams have different Sound Codecs and that is the problem.

Like you said.
Seen much of those.
Mp1, mp2, mp3, ogg, ac3, aac etcetera.

We all have audio variances that are a problem. My Sony Bravia 90 series has major audio issues that need repaired. Won't see the Vizio soundbar I have until I force it, and hardware related breakdown that is getting worse. My Hauppauge USB tuner sound is way above everything else & I have to turn it down quite a bit to run my local tv. Varying equipment will affect things too. I will try the calibration to see if it works for me though. Thanks Sam.

I'm struggling with that same Sony Tv model. Except whenever I power off for the night and power back on in the morning, all the audio settings in the Tv are gone and the audio is delayed via the JBL Surround system (9.1). I reset the audio using optical cable and make the Tv adjustments and each day the same thing. I did not have the issue when I was connected (Same Formuler Z11 Pro Max) to my other tv (Hisense)

The Vizio V51-H6 5.1 soundbar system I bought brand new with the tv has been a problem to connect to my Sony's E-arc from the beginning. I believe something is failing inside the tv itself as it's getting worse. I have to fight it to get the soundbar seen by the E-arc, and most times I have to turn off the E-arc then turn it back on to get the sound to work from the soundbar. Tried Bluetooth/Optical connecting from soundbar without any positive results. It is under warranty from Costco so I am trying to get somebody out here to repair it. It obviously has internal issues in the tv itself. Numbers for the sound acting crazy, sometimes having sound when I think it's working on the soundbar, turn the volume all the way down then going back up there is nothing, no sound. Sometimes it won't go to zero, only to 4, then jump to zero then come back up when hitting the up button. Of course there is the problem with the IR remote for Formuler as the remote is RF & even when I tried an IR remote I have here that works the Sony it refuses to pair to the buttons of the Formuler IR remote in programming. The BT1 fixed this problem up big time. On my BT1 I hit both tv & stb to turn on, then hitting the stb button kills everything. Trying to set up devices on the ports is another stupidity by Sony as only 2 are marked 4K. Isn't this a 4K TV???? They ALL should be marked 4K but if it sees a 4K device on port 1 for example, the stupid thing tries to tell me to put it on port 3 which can't be done as it's assigned for E-arc. Dumb & dumber!!!
