MYTVOnline 4 Beta Upgrade now available for Z12 Ultra

I think the application is good but I think it needs to be improved.

-To create a list of favorites I find it too complicated compared to mitv3 too much maneuver to do

-The back button in the VOD app to return to the home screen it would be good if it came back.

VOD and SERIES it will be good to have several lines instead of one line.

1.) no place to add or delete pin groups 2.) no place in content manager for updating EPG 3.) no place to change your background to another look . I do like it good improvement!!!!

In live tv grouping scroll to a highlighted group you wish to pin/hide then press info button and choose to pin your group. Revert to earlier reply method to unpin/move group. I do agree, we do seem to have gone a little backword with Mol4 as its deffo not as user friendly as Mol3 as there seems to be a lot of navigating to find certain actions.

This morning while watching live tv,i got a notification "new content has arrived,press refreshed in main menu",so i did but upon completion of refresh,it jumped back to MTOL4 homemenu.

Is this supposed to happen,as i would expect live tv to continue? F_Peter

Still on my Z11PM's, but would like to know something, so here it goes.

With MOL4 is there still a option/possibilty to manual sync the audio (for live tv, vods and series) and the subtitles (for vods and series) as this is now possible on MOL3? I really need such an offset of -300 ms audio (for all audio on AAC 5.1).

Ofcourse it needs to be improved. It's a beta version.

From vod back to live push menu button temporary, till they fix it to the "back" button

Has it been posted how to "Un hide" a country/group?

Just a thought: On Mol3-When you updated mvoies,series after finished the box went back to live.Now on MOL4 it goes back to homescreen,really annoying.Is there a way to make it work so after updating movies series,the box goes back to *Live*??

While watching a channel, press ok button. Press to the left, go to the 3 dots left upper corner, show & hide groups.

Very similar issue to mine. Box is rendered pretty useless. Looks like I'm gonna try and return under warranty.

Hope they are aware and working on a fix, amongst other issues. Pretty unacceptable for a flagship product given the price.

If that doesnt work go to SW update>press 1339>you will see "preparing for update"(moving icon),immediately press OK>update should start.

On going saga of my experience.

I done a factory reset after installing MOL4 and experiencing all kinds of bother. Mainly having to unplug the device and having the box switch off every time I changed to Adaptive/HDR/EV etc.

Thought the box was goosed. Raised a ticket with Forumler, raise a ticket with the seller etc etc.......Anyways, left if for over 24 hours and turned it on again today now it's working perfectly fine! All seems great. DV/HDR10 etc on no bother, and turns ok without having to unplug/plug

What I would say though. Setting up portals from scratch is a proper pain. IMO Gone backwards here from MOL3. Having to "hide" each channel group rather than hide all and select the ones you want is a drag.

Its not intuitive at all, and there's many, many more button presses to set up favourite groups, reordering channels etc. The "Content Manager" function in MOL3 was waaaaaaaay better and easier to use....more like the K.I.S.S. method - I think the new way is too complicated and not at all simple .

Anyways, I still like MOL4 - it looks great hand has great potential. Just make the channel/favourties set up easier please!

(Any ideas why the box just started to work would be greatly appreciated too.)

I use a third party editor to edit my EPG / playlists. The editor URL w/ Xtreme Codes worked fine in MyTVOnline3. After installing MyTVOnine4 and migrating data, only Series and Movies load. Zero channels load. I can create a test Playlist and PM you the xtreme codes so you can debug. Also, the search feature does not seem to work. i.e.: it does not find series I know are available.

Also channel count is not working. ( this is from a working EPG, not the one mentioned above.) See screenshot. Channel count should be -5600 in this case.

Still no option to hide channels? Disappointing to still not have such a basic feature but other than that new app looks and runs great

The app looks great visually, but there is still a lot of untapped potential. For the final release, I suggest the following improvements:

Improved Home Screen: Add a "Recently Added" section for movies and series directly on the home page.

Full Customization: Users should be able to disable all banners for a cleaner, more personalized look.

Relevant Trends: Stop showing "Trending" content that isn't actually available to stream.

I hope to see these changes in the final version!

Can a feature be added where if your click on a film or episode if you have multiple definitions avaiblae it shows you all 3 instead of having to find the other definitions?

Does anyone else get passthrough issues with exoplayer (using stremio) with this device? It cant seem to do TrueHD, and the file just stops playing. Switching to the AC3 track is fine, and so is VLC / Kodi.

Still find it annoying that you have to wait for a recording to complete before you can watch it, other players can do this.

I have detected an issue on MOL4: some streams are in 1080p at 25 Hz purely, but the displayed resolution is incorrect, showing 1920 × 1080 at 50 fps. This information is completely wrong. I did not have this issue at all on MOL3.

A couple of things I have noticed since installing the MOL4 beta. I preface this with I don't know if this is a MOL4 issue or something with my Service or a setup issue that I may have missed. This is why I'm just putting this out here to see if anyone else has these issues.

1) Very minor issue with the Weather Bug on Home Screen. It shows up to location of my VPN. Turn off VPN and it shows up to MY location as it should. Turn on Weather lock and Weather Bug goes away completely with VPN on or off.

2) Changed EPG from Default to Alternate and I get 5 days of EPG, which is great. When I change to Alternate in the Content Sources section, EPG Update Interval greys out and cannot be changed. Also the EPG now cannot be updated manually (says it's updating but doesn't do anything) nor does it update overnight or at least for a few days it has not updated. If I change it back to Default and click Update it updates the EPG automatically. When I changed it to Alternate and clicked Update it did not update the EPG at that time.

Again, not sure if it is a Service issues or something else. Anyone else have similar issues?

I received my Z12 yesterday:

- Backing up from the Z11 and restoring to the Z12 doesn't work
- Reconfigured everything and created my own TV groups
- Installed MOL4 and everything was imported correctly
- But now, in MOL4, I can't edit my own groups or create new ones

Hi, there is and wasn't an option to backup and restore to a different box.

MOL4 is still a Beta version, so it could be that this isn't implemented yet. Ask SAM for hulp with editing own groups.

1. Love the new interface way better

2. Wish we could have weather app give local weather rather than Vpn weather

Ad 3/ the green dot may be an indication that your GTV-B3 microphone is still active?

I bought a z12 today. But can find the beta update of mytvonline 4? Can someboday help me?
