hi, hope this is going to the right people? z7 box is great, really pleased however, one issue that i am getting, when i schedule a recording say for later that afternoon, the box wont record it gives me a message saying cant record this stream but if you manually press record kit records fine. any help would be great, cheers

Hi,
New format of the recording device (SD Card or USB Stick) helps when this happens. Can also happen when you use more then one device and the box try to record on new one. If you use often timers, please use only one recording device (sd card or usb).

This problem is occuring with my box aswell but has only become apparent since the last update. I notice if you try to schedule a recording on the same channel your viewing then the "cant record stream" message pops up but if you try scheduling on a different channel to the the one your watching then it records fine.
Factory reset doesn't resolve the problem as i tried earlier so will try what you suggested Sam and feedback with the results. I also have the problem of live recordings defaulting to a 1 hour timer instead of recording the actual length of the programe. This issue seems to be intermitant and differcult to reproduce. If anyone can lend a helping hand it would be greatly appreciated.

"Can't record this stream" issue has been reproduced in the lab and will be patched in this month's hotfix release.
