Maybe xtream-editor wants all MOL2 users to abandon m3u and API lines and pay for their M*g device option.

Everything has over Months works.
Since yesterday suddenly only a black picture.
I am connected in MOL2 via M3U playlist with data from Xtream Editor.

yes, this entire debacle comes across as being somewhat suspicious. When I sent a suport ticket to xtream-editor they told me to use this new X3M player and then they went silent.

I doubt that has anything to do with it. X3M Player is a free companion app for XE subscribers. It makes no difference to them which app you use as you've already paid your subscription.
In fact it's in XE's best interests to allow their service to work on as many different apps as possible. Hence why I believe they will fix this problem in a reasonable time.

I've bought an extra XE subscription so I can create a favorites list and sort them as I like,
while keeping the comfort of MyTVOnline2. Unfortunately, do not bring me anything anymore. Disgusting.

No, it's definately still not working with MOL2, except for a M*G line, but working okay in tivimate.

You can have multiple m*g lines, but they charge per m*g line. Also you can only have 1 m*g line per mac address.

You can have multiple but they charge every magg line you add and I think it's a one time fee for every magg line. This is for the standard edition as I know.

Please delete your M3U playlist in MOL2 and create it again completely. Just like before.
I did not have a typo in my playlist but since the weekend the playlist did not work anymore. For whatever reason.
But as I said once completely deleted and re-created and I can connect again via MOL2 with the XE M3U!

But I did that on Monday and it made no difference.

U refer to m3u lists AND API lines, or just m3u list?
I have deleted both my API line, m3u list, re-entered it into xtream-editor and there is no change...they do not connect in MOL2.
But, I will try it all over again.

Ok everything has now started working again by itself.
I did not have to re-enter the Api or m3u details. The old details have just started working again

Been reading the whole thread. Has any of you tried removing the secure server from the XE's m3u file?
It's never worked for me, even today, if I try https, I get blank screen.
So, I always use the link w/o secure server.

Api is for people with an Xtream Codes m3u (http://server.extension:8080/get.php?userna…_plus&output=ts). It allows XE to draw much more detailed information ie - better epg integration, catch-up, IMDB for VOD. XE's m*g lines can only be set up if it has access to the Api too.
Basically the XE m3u line is only really used for users with an actual .m3u file.

i tried with merged line i added 2 lines that are merged into one ... the chanals from the first line works the chanals from the second not just black screen .... but the epg works

Are you using the m3u or m@g line?
Catch-up works via m@g but not with m3u (MOL2 issue). EPG should work for both.

Recording one channel and watching another isn't available yet. Is apparently being worked on for the next update (I need this too).
Catch-up doesn't work via XE on the standard line yet. In order to get catch-up to play in MOL2 via XE you have to set up an XE M@g line. Yeah it's costs an extra 2.50 Swiss francs, but it actually works very well (you use the mac ID listed inside the MOL2 app and not the actual boxes mac address).
It's all a pain in the arse, but it's a very usable workaround.

Just after a little bit of advice please now i've read the forums. Just to recap, what are the benefits between the following three again?
M*G
XC API
M3U
Which would be the best option to use with XE editor and for catchup to also work - I think it's M*G, but just wondering how everyone else has theirs configured.
I don't think it's possible to record one chnl and watch another at present.
