Sudden stuttering

All of a sudden, perhaps after an update or something, I started having issues with multiple channels including ones that usually never ever stutter. I have around 300mbps dl and 30mbps up and I am connected via ethernet. The issue doesn't seem to be coming from my provider so I am wondering if this is something from MyTVOnline 2, unfortunately I tried to connect my m3u to another program (IPTV Smarters) but I was having issues connecting.

I looked at some other posts who have had similar issues but I wanted to show the below video and image to perhaps identify the cause of this issue.

As you can see, the image starts to stutter and if you especially notice on the last channel where football is playing, you can see that the issue is fixed when I change the channel and go back to it. Sometimes it takes two or three channel switches for it to sync back and work smoothly.

Also, I'm seeing this symbol on a lot of UK channels, not sure what it means.

The symbol is probably just to identify stream by provider I have some on different channels.

Have you tried on another device or a test from another provider

Thanks for the info, it's not specific to the channels that have the symbol unfortunately.

I haven't tried on another device, I might try but the last time I tried I accidentally got banned although I had turned off everything on the other device. I could try and get a trial perhaps that's a good idea.

having same problem across three services. Starts and works for about 10 seconds, then stutters. Change channel.its fine for another ten, same happens. Go back to original channel works fine then breaks down. Two of the services work fine on smarters (not tested third as its mac address). There has been no changes to my setup, cables all fine and net speeds are +100mb at box. Only happened since upgrade.

Go to MOL Menu -> Settings and set higher Buffer like 10s and test again.

Good Morning,

It suggests the issue is a source / provider one. I’ve seen multiple reports recently of the same thing across devices so I’d expect it’s not the Z8. Just a coincidence since the last update.

In 99% it is the provider and also the Network/ISP.

On box side you can only try with setting higher buffer.

In Provider case you have no chance if he have issues with resources or problems with own Network.

ISP can be solved in many cases with VPN.

in my case tried same services on another box, absolutely perfect... not provider...the last update has definitely caused the issue. Done factory reset, cleared caches etc

This is definitely a service issue. I myself had this very issue a few weeks ago. It was driving me crazy. I knew nothing had changed my end so it was so frustrating. Then all of a sudden this problem has completely disappeared and everything is perfect again. And guess what,, still nothing has changed my end. 100% a service provider issue,, the trouble is they will all try their best to try and convince you otherwise and say it's not.

I had seen a possible solution in a providers help section,

To fix buffering issue to clear cache data

You could also try installing another IPTV app and test.

This may sound crazy but try a different hdmi cable.

Try clearing all data for MYTVOnline 2, remove the app and reinstall from Market.

Update, hopefully that will fix the issue you have.

Instead of stuttering, it shows a loading icon. Same thing unfortunately. Only happens when changing channels, once it settles even with 0s buffer it doesn't stutter so it's not an internet issue.

Tried this, removing portal and m3u but still the issue pertains.

If you're saying it stutters only at start of opening a stream, then try turning off "HLS fast" in player settings in MOL2.

Although if settles after, then that can be normal on some apps anyways. Its just starting with a high bitrate, then settles.

Provider issue or ISP blocking, if all three streaming dots are empty, there is no data flow!

Try with VPN as possible solution and set Buffer to 10 just to be sure you done everything from your side.
