Search didn't turn up anything, so I'll post this.
When I use voice search in VOD by pressing the voice icon, the Z11 Pro Max crashes. Black screen and nothing works. Just pull the plug.

I have the BT1 remote and it does not crash, but it does not work either. If I click the microphone icon on the virtual keyboard it instantly puts a message (white oval with black text) "Network is disconnected". It has done this since I got it. If I click the button on the remote while the search text box is high lighted, it instantly says (voice) "Hmm something went wrong. Try again in a few seconds".
I will see if there is anything in the logs, once I find them...

Please let us know if you have the latest firmware installed on your devices. Check the software version by opening the Software Update app on your Formuler device.
Latest version is 11.2.1

it will sometimes crash if you are using headset
if you are using the bt1 and the crash occurs then submit a log:
1. go to settings>device prefs>about>report problem>send log
take record of the tracking number before sending.

Using the original GTV-BT1, didn't have any prob before the regular latest Update.

Go to Android Settings > Apps > App permissions > Microphone
and list the apps that have microphone permissions on your device.
Also, are you using a different on-screen keyboard or are you using the default Gboard keyboard?

clearing the cache and data of the gboard and assistant was able to solve this same issue.

I have Google Play Store and Gboard under Allowed. I am using whatever virtual keyboard that came with MOL. I had not idea that it could be changed.

I just tried again and it all works now, both Google Assistant and the virtual keyboard icon. Technology. Shrug.
