Please do factory reset, because on Z11 this option must be shown.

My service provider install instructions knock the option off after installing as below
On your Formuler Z11 make sure you install all software updates before proceeding and then go to system info.
Find build date but do not press anything on build date just hover on it and then press coloured buttons from left to right, (Red, green, yellow, blue)
You will be asked to enter a code
505060
Then untick inital
Then apply and restart
Enter mytvonline3 and select ng user and enter username and password given below. Please keep the details safe.

Go to home menu -> system info -> if block installed, you should see menu entry "Check for configuration update"-> Highlight the configuration line, then press 0 (Zero) -x10 times -> It will factory reset and unblock,
It took me a while to understand will I be ok ??
Also I cannot add another portal this way,but a good provider,so it looks like I'm stuck with this option ,please give me your opinion
Many thanks for your reply

My service provider install instructions knock the option off after installing as below
If your box is configured and branded from provider then proceed this way:
Go to home menu -> system info -> if block installed, you should see menu entry "Check for configuration update"-> Highlight the configuration line, then press 0 (Zero) -x10 times -> It will factory reset and unblock,
if you want to unblock all configs and factory reset the box. Need of course fresh install. I also do not understand why Provider deactivated the backup function, doesn`t make sense.

This appears to be a bug involving custom configurations. We are a dealer of Formuler devices and also a service provider. Our custom configuration was set up by our contact at Formuler - we did not select any options. When we apply our custom configuration to MOL3 on _ANY_ Z11 Pro Max (we don't use Z11 Pro), there is also no option for "Backup & Restore Options" in MOL3 --> Settings. Identical screen shot to the one posted by OP.
We have tried to factory reset - no change.
When we remove our custom configuration and reset, the "Backup & Restore Options" selection re-appears.
Please investigate. If we need to report this somewhere else, please just reply here.
Thank you!

Has there been any progress on this? The problem is that any time a system requires a factory reset, the customer looses all of their favorites, progress within TV series episodes, viewing history, etc. We need to be able to backup this information before a factory reset.
Thank you!

Thank you SAM!

Nada. Nothing. We need the ability to perform backups when using a custom configuration.

Bump for visibility. My Provider also uses a custom configuration. I'm sure that there are certain options they remove purposefully, such as the ability to add more portals, edit groups, etc. But No Service Provider would intentionally remove back up and restore. In the event of a system failure that requires a factory reset, or to delete and reinstall MOL3, this would be a very easy way for the provider to have a very upset customer.
