WiFi Connected but no internet connection

  • New to this Forum, yet I am turning to you as I have an issue with my Z10 Max Pro.

    After about 2 years about 10 days ago I have an issue with my internet connection.

    I can connect to WiFi. Yet get an error that there is no internet connection.

    All my other devices work and have connection and internet.

    I have 2 separate SSID's. Each with It's own router.

    Both cause the same issue.

    Sometimes the SSID's disapear for a few minutes and come back.

    Already did a factory reset. Same issue.

    Ethernet is working.

    Anybody any thoughts?

  • Home menu -> Click on your wifi icon -> In next menu click on your connected ssid -> IP Settings (DHCP) and again on DHCP. Test again.

  • I have formuler 11 pro max since the last update my ethernet does not work wifi off shows connected but no internet even with no vpn on then I get a message no internet on ethernet but still shows connected and ip address I do get internet through the cable as I tried other items and ethernet works

  • Please follow post #4, first disconnect ethernet cable from Box and do like in post #4.

  • I have two boxes, a Z10 and a Z11 Pro Max having the same issue. On my wifi they both out of the blue started saying, Connected but no internet. I have unplugged both boxes and router, forgot the connection and reconnected, and Home menu -> Click on your wifi icon -> In next menu click on your connected ssid -> IP Settings (DHCP) and again on DHCP. Test again with no luck. other devices, phones, computer ect connected to the wifi work fine, so I know the wifi is working. Turned on my Mobile Hotspot and connected to the box and worked fine, so I know its not the boxes wifi, but im at a loss here and have no clue. any other ideas?

    Ipv6 off? Or on?

  • Sorry for the late reply, but the IPv6 was on. After a week of research trying to figure out what the heck was going on and almost calling my ISP, I spoke with my girl, and she finally remembered that she monitors the internet connections in case the kids brought a phone home and connected. Well, she saw the only two android connections and decided since she thought they weren't ours or the kids had snuck a phone in, so she paused the two android connects. lol Once she un-paused them, everything works fine now. Thanks for the replies. Hope this post save someone else a whole lot of heart ache and research lol
