  • Hi, sorry if this has been mentioned before but I can’t find a solution anywhere.

I’m using a Zmini with the mytvonline3 app and some movies in VOD are shuttering/stalling, I tried changing different settings but nothing worked. It’s also the same in my Z11 PRO MAX.
When i change to the vlc external player the movie plays fine with no issues.

The video information from the vlc player is

    Codec MPEG-H Part2/HEVC (H.265)
    Resolution 1920x1080

    Framerate 23.976

    Video information using default player

    1920*1080 23.976fps H.265/English, AAc,5.1Bitrate: 28.6Mbps

Also I’m using XC with username and password

I downloaded other apps and the movie plays fine.

does anyone know a solution to get the movie to play with mytvonline3 built in player or is it not compatible with the codes above?

  • - It is possible that VLC player has a more efficient decoding algorithm

    - Do you have an adaptive bitrate addon for VLC? MOL3 uses direct streaming and offers "long buffering" as a playback option to compensate.

    - Do you have AFR applied in playback settings to match framerate of the content by default?

    - Are you using AISR to auto upscale? This may be affecting playback

    - When is the last time you cleared the cache for MOL3?

-Have you tested your internet speeds?

    - Have you closed all background apps?

  • I’ve see the problem first on my Z11 pro max so i checked on a new fresh out of the box Zmini and it has the same issue, I’ve also checked with others thats using the same setup and they have the same issue..

I’ve spent hours changing settings like what you have mentioned above and still nothing works.

It maybe something I’m missing or it’s mytvonline3 not supporting the video codes

Could be codec issue. Use VLC as external player when it works fine.

  • I have these problems aswell, but when im using VLC as external player the movie also stutters. I then did install Iboplayer pro and used my same playlist and played the same movie, and the movie did run fine!

I hear this problem from more people that have the same setup, it is not happening on all movies.

Any idea or can I check or upload something?
