    Change Log:

    MYTVOnline 3 Version : 12.1.21 HOTFIX BETA

    • FIX: "Delete all" not working in Notifications
    • FIX: Invalid API requests
    • Bug fixes, optimizations, and performance enhancements
  • Try reinstalling mol3 from Market.

  • SAM Just noticed a bug that probably existed before:

In Settings, Device preferences, Display & Sound, Screen position

The blue rectangles at the corners are not being displayed anymore.

So now, you just have to guess if the scaling reaches the corners when reducing the displayed area.

  • Tested on both but 100% fits perfect on two different Tv`s. I think this % change should be so. How ever, will ask if it is intended that way.

Some tv's uses automatic zoom function for there screen. sow then you need to change the percent (%) to 90% or so.

Give it a try please and have a look in your tv settings and search if "zoom" funtion is enabled. If so, disable it!

  • Hi

Just sent 2x logs 1735717 after 2x getting kicked out of MOL3 again, after a channel search. Both times one of my providers EPG was updating. Tried again afterwards after EPG updating was done, and all was ok. Bug?

Tested it at customer TV and the blue edges are NOT being displayed while the picture was too large for the TV. Without the blue edges there was no way to see how far the displayed area needed to be reduced (from 100 to 96 % or more…) there is no way to know as you cannot see where the displayed area ends…

More so, what is the purpose/added value of removing the blue edges that were there as a visual aid to help exactly to do that?
TV was a relatively new LG. With Z8 pro on that TV the blue corners are displayed.

Removal helps noone and adds no value and makes no sense whatsoever. What added value brings the removal of the blue corners?

    Please bring them back.

  • Why is the Z11 stuck on homepage every morning. & spinning circle for 30 seconds before you can get back to MOL3. Also recordings. One cut off 2 hrs before finish. & all out of sync by around 30 seconds. So hit & miss recording on the Z11. Recordings just cutting short & going to homepage. The box has a complete meltdown if you program a couple of recordings! 🤷🏼‍♂️ One day it works, the next day you get 1 minute of recording! & Still cannot f/f anything on catchup. (Massive issue) So if you want to watch 7 hrs of ufc. Etc, Your stuck watching the whole show. Because you cannot skip anything!

  • So they are missing completely? Yes thats not nice.

I thought really the zoom function let them disappeared.

Will also test it later my friend.

Correct, they are missing completely. Also on my new high-end Samsung TV. They were always there with the Z8 Pro, Z10 Pro and I think -but not entirely sure- in the beginning with the Z11 Pro Max. I only started noticing it when I installed at customer few days ago where the displayed area needed to be reduced. When you go into the settings you will see that the blue edges are missing whatever size (%) the settings is.

Here is the picture of my TV.

  • Thanks for your confirmation Lucky133.

Already in my initial post on this I literally stated:

“In Settings, Device preferences, Display & Sound, Screen position

The blue rectangles at the corners are not being displayed anymore.”

I couldn’t be any clearer than that I think. Hope SAM now understands the issue as well and has it fixed with the next update. 🤞

Just sent the same logfile again. Kicked out of mol3 again after trying a content update. Noticed afterwards that again one (other!) provider's EPG was updating.

Here is the picture of my TV.

The update didn't remove the blue corners.

Z10 series, Z11 seires, GTV, and Z mini devices all have no blue corners. Maybe you are talking about the Z8?

Anyways, will let you know if the blue corners can be implemented or not.

As I stated in my post that you quoted: The Z8 Pro and Z10 Pro did display the blue corners.

Those are the previous boxes I used.

I have never used other boxes so for me the blue corners were always there and make a lot of sense. Why not have that functionality with every box? They are extremely helpful!

Without the blie corners it is a hit and miss guess to set the correct size of the screen as there is no way to see if you reached the max display size.

If the TV settings are properly adjusted, there’s usually no need to fiddle with the zoom on the box...

In any case, I've never had to do that. Always 100%.

For example, on my LG TV, the "signal analysis" setting in "Picture Format" needs to be activated and not set to Auto.

Otherwise, the image is cut off at the edges.

All TV brands typically have this setting.

It might be useful on a projector, though, I suppose.

  • Like you say… USUALLY it is not required…., but there are situations where it is.

The fact that you never encountered a situation where it was needed to adjust the scaling does in no way shape or form mean it is not required. 🙄
I install these boxes on a daily basis at customers and run into many more variances than you apparently have.

And no, not ALL TV’s have that setting.

Anyway, happy that Formuler is looking into the issue.
