Can anyone recommend an alternative remote that works with this box that has an airmouse and keyboard.

Hi have an M3 2.4G Wireless Remote Control Keyboard Air Mouse that works great on Formuler Z7+
It doesn't have all the original Formuler remote keys directly mapped for MYTVOnline but overall its 90%. If you want you can do IR copy from the original Formuler remote and map to a specific key.
On my M3 remote since I don't usually use the MYTVOnline specific keys I have mapped my TV remote this way I have 2 in 1. If I need some special modification I use the original remote.

The quality its great for the price. Don't expect a rubberized fancy premium remote, this is not that.
The keyboard does work on MYTVOnline and all the other apps where you need to imput text.
It cost around 8€ to 9€

I ordered one, but i cant make it to change channels, which makes the remote pretty useless. did you do anything special to make it work?

where is the record button? and info button? i like the look of this remote and also the Rii i8 but all the buttons that are on the original formuler remote are not there, most importantly the record button.

Z7+ works very well with my Logitech Harmony 650. I also have the M3 2.4G Wireless Remote Control Keyboard Air Mouse and the only issue I have is there isn't a guide button to bring up the MyTvOnline EPG grid. If using the M3 I have to use the classic guide to navigate channels and channel groups.

I trained the remote, the corresponding buttons of the original remote. And button "GUIDE" like button '"NFO" from the box.
Buttons "1"- like play
"0"- stop buttons
"3"-pause buttons
Plus buttons corresponding to the TV, adding the "7" button as the "OK" button (TV)
I did this because of the poor tactility of the buttons and the lack of demand for (many) buttons for everyday use of the orginal console.
Remote works great!
I am very satisfied.

I wanted to learn more. Went to their site. They do not allow you to see or do anything on their site unless you agree to allow them to place cookies on your browsing device.
My device is kept VERY clean. Cookies are a no-no.
Their price is quite high (~$20) and their support requires compliance to their demands.
I'm sure they'll do well, they simply won't do it on my machine.

You have to push stronger inside, if you just plug in, this is not enough. There are 2-3mm that must go inside otherwise it will not have contact and not work.
