This update is awesome and new live tv UI is really beautiful.
But am i the only one to find that the navigation speed is slower than the previous update ?
Hope the speed will be improved with the official release and it will be perfect !

Navigation speed good here. I have changed OSD timeout to 2secs which helps while in channels
Info Update: 100 channel limit in favorites will be increased to 300 favorites in the official release

How do I install this update?
HowTo Install:
Home Menu -> Software Update -> press "0227" -> Red Icon and Beta Test SW appear (right corner) -> Press Red Button -> Now is the Firmware and Software shown, press now "OK" button for install.
The install process and reboot works automatically! Please don`t turn off the box or plug out the power supply, could damage the box. The reboot after update needs always much more time then usual, please be patinate and let the box finish the install.

All important Infos can be found in first post, please read carefully.
Second, i can only advice new users not to install beta and to wait until official comes out. Beta is for testing, exploring and searching for bugs and not for 24h productive modus. We don`t give any support if something goes wrong with Beta, like stated Install and use at your own risk. Software cannot be rolled back after installation.

Anyone has noted the 3 bar from buffer have disappeared it is useful to check stability of the stream.
At least i can not see it.
Hasn't it just changed i have time then 2 others
time then looks like signal with key ( VPN?) the 3 graduated bars

With red arrow is Wifi signal and on right side the stream signal. Stream Signal shows for now only one dot (bug) , will be fixed with official update.
after reading the post about stability of stream I thought mine were bad

Since the last Beta i allways face the issu that epg only is showing when im on the Channel or hovering in the epg from 1 Channel to the other.
Or is this a bug that only i have.
Im on portal in mol2 last beta.
On smarters i don't have this issue.

Please how I can change the background picture for home picture ?

Recommended size: 1920x1080 500KB
- Download images you want to use as the wallpaper.
- Insert your USB drive and create a folder named “wallpapers” (Case sensitive❗)
- Copy image files and paste into the folder.
- Turn your Formuler device on and plug in the USB drive.
- Navigate down to ‘Launcher Settings’ and open.
- Navigate to ‘Advanced’ and open. Click ‘Wallpaper’ option.
- Navigate to the group you want to update.
- Click ‘Local’ it will open up images saved in your USB drive.
Users can also click the ‘Default’ settings to bring back the original images- Select the image you want and press ‘OK’ button on your remote.
This will create a small pop up window that says “wallpaper settings complete”- Exit out from the settings and navigate to groups to see the changes

Delete EPG Cache and restart MOL2. With Beta MOL2 load EPG data in background again.

That would be 7K and not 4K with 3840x2160. Btw. such bigger files must be generated each time from box and this costs GUI speed.

Hello Looks like the latest beta crashes on few channels for me when using hls option. Also, vod has few stream that doesn't play audio when using mytvonline2. This was the issue before as well. You can pm me and i'll provide you with the stream urls that aren't working properly with the player so you can troubleshoot properly. Thank you.

Have you checked the audio track for the ones not playing sound? If you do that you may see you can select an option there and all should be fine?

Thanks for replying. I did try going into audio option but it still plays no audio even after selecting it.
Edit: Also updating playlist brings back the hls option can we keep it off if we turn it off.

Regarding HLS you are able to toggle on or off...
On any channel, press menu on remote and go to settings and then all the way to the bottom you’ll find HLS option.

I believe Sam mentioned previously that one dot is a bug at the moment and will be sorted for final software release
don't know if there is any relation but i have noticed that right after installing beta software my romote control began to work not properly. new duracell baterries used. is there any way to improve remote control working?
After Beta installation on Z8 most of the channels are freezing/buffering on MOL2. I decided to go back to official software. I did hard reset with factory reset file. Now after reinstallation of official firmware. After opening MOL2, Everytime this leads me to software update page. I tried different things but does not work Please Help.
well..if i use the remote from not more than 1m away from the box everything is good. but more than 1m away either it doesn't work at all or works only when i flip the remote 90degrees to the right (with the bottons facing my right side). i know it sounds funny but this is just what i have noticed. i must mention that i have used 4 different brand new batteries..

Yes, I'm able to change the setting but if i re-fresh my playlist. It sometimes triggers it back on. So once i'm on few channels it uses hls but crashes. And it's takes a while for app to re-open after this crash. So i have to keep changing channels in order to re-turn off the hls setting. For the audio issue i'm not sure as it works with vlc player and iptv apps not sure why it doesn't work on mytvonline2.
You can not deinstall firmware. There is no rollback with firmware after once installed! All infos in first post and in red.
Beta version UI is really nice but i have encounter mainly these 3 issues.
1. some of the channels buffering while in offical MOL2 all of them working perfect
2. In EPG, when I put my EPG subscription URL https://epg.best/12345-abcded.xml.gz, it does not load EPG at all. But when I use EPG downloaded file it works for all channels
3. in Beta using EPG file, although EPG works but i do not see "EPG Updating" message on the screen when open first time like in official MOL2
