both machines running side by side on mol z8 pro is far superior
Catch up for instance z8 pro instant gtv has a lag then you get sound before pic
Ff and rw the same nowhere as quick lags then sound before pic
Dont get me wrong I love the gtv but its all these niggles there's loads
These two machines running same providers same isp everything z8 pro is better at the moment on mol

I can also confirm the same as Jobey, experiencing the exact same in terms of freeze issue on catchup, ff or rr, then sound comes and then picture movement.
Except I don’t get buffering or a black screen

Can you turn off the AFR and try again to see if the issue still occurs? and let me know the result.
Does the issue occur on all channels? or specific channels?
Please provide a video of the Z8 to compare. (condition: same server, same channel, same program, turn on the AFR in the settings)

So I’ve taken the decision to leave the GTVs I have and put them to one side and go back to Z8.
A little disappointed with it at the moment unfortunately.
I hope GTV is sorted soon, it has potential but just isn’t there at the moment.
I have the GTV box and the truth is that I am satisfied.
I think that what they need to improve urgently is the image fluency in MO2.
The Autoframe option is pretty disappointing too.
You have to test configurations for it to work well.
Will there be an update to address these issues soon? SAM
Formuler works on all boxes always and fixes + optimisations will come, for GTV like other Z boxes too. Therefore is collecting of needed data to optimise the new boxes very important, but fixes need some time. Devs. are also only humans and need time to fix something, step by step and the GTV will be better and better

I personally have the gtv, when I put the auto frame when I change the channel I have black screen for a few seconds then the image comes back and sometimes while we are looking at the black screen channel as if it calculates the frames , and when I go to the vod like this black screen several times before having the welcome screen, suddenly I stop the auto frame and it's nickel it does more

Gtv is poor on the catch up stop recording takes ages to load then just buffers used all setting you advised many thanks
