LG CX Oled..all CEC options enabled. My Z8 turns off fine when TV powers off but never turns on when I power on TV. Stays on standby. Any way to fix? thx

Did you do the same on your TV HDMI CEC settings , "turn on TV when when HDMI CEC device turns on" On some TV's unfortunately it doesn't work, I'm not sure why.

Home screen > Power mode > Standby
Use Standby mode instead of "Power off" mode to see if it works.

Mine does reverse. All options enabled, everything turns off but 15 seconds later the Z8 powers on. I believe the Samsung TV is polling for devices.
So I have "Turn on with TV" disabled and have to use 2 buttons (STB/TV) to start everybody up. Go figure.

Same situation here.
My LG TV from 2020 with WebOS 5.0 has the same problem.
However my Samsung TV from 2017 is working flawless with HDMI CEC.
So the box is not the problem but LG.

I have exactly the same issue with my samsung tv but it's nothing to do with the Z8 because the tv does the same with my Ps4 Console.
