not showing much I'm waiting for release date today hopefully
SAM can we have price and release date please going crazy here 😜
cheers
Is this then just a software upgrade to Android 10 and a few minor other things and possibly chipset being different to GTV?
I ask because going by the images, the interface is the same as Z8?
How come it wasn’t changed to look like GTV interface also running Android 10?
Z8 interface is dated so seems an incremental upgrade with the limited info at the moment?
Would that be a correct assumption? If not please can we have further info on how this differs from a Z8 and GTV?
Stays all in the specs on Formuler HP:
GTV:
CPU : Amlogic S905X2
GPU : ARM G31 MP2
RAM: 2GB DDR4 @2400MHz
Storage: 16GB eMMC
Operating System : Android TV™ 10
Z10 Pro Max:
CPU : Realtek RTD1319 (no Hisilicon chipset like Z8)
GPU : ARM G31 MP2
RAM: 4GB DDR4 @2400MHz
Storage: 32GB eMMC
Operating System : Android 10 (AOSP like Z8 but OS v. 10)
New: Micro SD Card slot, AV1 Decoding
Great thank you
So the Z10 Pro Max is the new top model for mytv online2 and picture Quality?
or gtv still better?
Sorry i meant difference of picture quality between Z8 pro and Z10 pro max, which is best?
Not dolby vision ![]()

There will be no big difference in the picture quality due to improvement in Ram and eMMC performance.
Just could expect the smooth and fast precessing .
Not dolby vision
Since 12bit panels are not commercaially available , its difficult to use them anyway.![]()
IR remote? But why? I hate having to point ad the set top box direction to change the channel. I prefer the GTV BT remote to Z8 due to connectivity.

which connectivity are u saying? both are almost same except blutooth pairing

I don't think so. GTV BT remote I can point anywhere and it will work. IR remote as the name suggest work via IR, not BT. So you need to point towards set top box and rather be precise about it.
I'll add my opinion to the matter.
Ranking: (My list)
1. Z10 PRO - Gigabit, 4GB memory, A55-processor, built-in WIFI-antenna, Android 10. Expected to be at resellers early October(Sweden), preliminary from what I’ve heard.
2. Z8 PRO - Gigabit, 2GB memory, A53-processor, external wifi-antenna, Android 7. SPDIF (N.B: SPDIF is the reason, for me personally, that is earning this box a 2nd place. N.B.)
3. GTV - Gigabit, 2GB memory, A53-processor, built-in WIFI-antenna, Android TV10, Bluetooth remote.
Everything else is joining them afterwards (Z8, Alpha, Neo, CC etc) and if you are indulging yourself with a Formuler box, you should in fact allow yourself to pay a wee bit more than you initially thought. One of these boxes will carry you and your future entertainment. Going strong for at least 2-4 years, easily.

The Android 10 is the rub, as I found on the GTV installing apps and having them run properly is very time consuming. I spent a pile of time getting software to run on Android 10 because no one issues the certificates for the programs to run the latest version, and you end up looking for older versions of the apps to get them running sort of and limited features in the apps work.
