I have a feeling he meant to write Z8 Pro, since he wrote "I'm connected from the z10 directly to a Yamaha receiver" and I don't believe Z10 has a SPDIF entry (right?).

No spdif but you can connect through hdmi directly.
Ok, the sale started in NA earlier than in EU and other country's.

Mine was $207 CAD after the discount, and it came with a second high grade HDMI cable. The remote is an upgrade from the remote that came with my old Nvidia shield tv.
It will cost me 2250 SEK (329,79 CAD) to buy it over here, and to get it at the end of the month. My heart is hurting so bad right now.

If you are a wholesaler for large quantity these are 100.00 US. This is incorrect it is 129.99 US for 35 pieces plus. The 100.00 is for the Z8 pro.
