Formuler GTV or Z10 - which one to buy?

the z10 should be best for iptv as it has the new rt soc which will definitely give better picture quality than the amologic soc in the gtv,if you don't need google apps then the z10

I guess there is no "best", always it is a matter of opinion and preference.

Both are good devices, it depends on if you want official android tv or aosp.

If you are looking for all of the features and ability to customization, which has formuler market and android tv version of google play store > Z10

Android TV OS> GTV

Also if you need more storage and RAM, Z10 pro max is better.

Also a point to chose is very confusing that the newer Z10 comes with less audio support than the older GVT

In fact , it cannot be said that gtv's amlogic soc is lower than z10's rt soc . cause its newer version .

Also , the audio decoding ability is higher /

So think Gtv is more competitive if there is an future update from the formuler dev team that fixes the small problems of Gtv.

contains the gtv or z10 a file browser so i can make a connection to my hdd on my router to play movie like the z7, z8 etc?

On the z7 and z8 i have an file browser, ans then i click on "lan connection" en the i can come on my hdd via the network.

I want this so much, because via my pc i can put a movie via my network on the harddrive and.via my formuler i can go to my harddrive via file browser and then via lan network to my harddrive and watch the movie.

amologic soc have never been as good as rt or hisilicon for picture quality / I've got loads of boxes nvidia sheild /odroid n2 amologic 922x/ziddo z9 and the hisilicon soc in my z8 gives the cleanest picture and the most accurate colour space

That's right . Each has its own strangths.

Just choose according to their preference.

I was wondering if I should update my Z8 to the z10 promax or GTV. I read that the GTV audio is better. I use MYTVONLINE2 for iptv and Kodi for movies. I like my ÀTMOS movies. Was told the GTV will passthrough ATMOS in kodi and the z10 will not. I now will be getting the GTV, was previously thinking about the Z10. The forums are the biggest help. My z8 does have widevine L1 and I have the BT1 remote. Worth it. The z8 does passthrough Dolby Digital but not Atmos. I love the hisilicon soc picture quality. I hear hisilicon is coming out with new soc for 2022. Will be interesting to see

Z10 does past atmos/truehd/dtshd/dd,i got my z10 last week,connected to my avr and ive got it all working,only real issue I'm havin is if I turn on Auto refresh rate it will always upscale 1080p to 2160p through kodi and syncler,turn it off and it stays at 1080p,picture quality is a downgrade though compared to my z8 so il probaly send it bck and maybe try it again
