Questions about Formuler Z11 Pro MAX, Z11 Pro and MOL3.

Yes If i have a 1 gigabit line my isp modem is to use this speed. connection is modem-ethernet cable - Z11 pro max.

Sometimes your ISP router onoy has one gigabit port, so make sure it’s plugged into port number 1

No such port only 4 the same no problem on other devices

1. the mbps speed on the z11 is not the isp speed it is the connection to the router port.

If router have no 1000mbps port, the connection will be less to match the router port.

2. try switching the z11 to another router port or try a next cable.

3. there is a possibility the ethernet port on the z11 is defective.

4. some router especially mifi have port power saving that must be disabled.

Hi Sam i have a Telenet docsis 3.1 Moden and cannot find this option. On other devices i get at least 700-800 Mbts when using ethernet connection. If i turn on wi-fi i get 1201 Mbps The content cannot be displayed because it is no longer available.

Never had this in mind because thought cat7 must work for it’s higher category.

I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish here. You have usb ssd connected to another device in your house and want to share it with formuler? If they are in the same network that's possible. But you say you have no router and....i'm lost. LOL

Usually you have formuler connected to wifi or ethernet in your home network and any device in the same network can share whatever you want with formuler... That's the way!!!

How can i access the ssd from another device (ipad or pc over the same network) to watch the recordings ?

(And of course have a router ;-), but without possibility to connect the usb ssd for sharing in the network)

i hear you but you could probably do the opposite. Don't you have a computer or NAS always on and connected in the same network? If yes you just need to make a samba server on it. Almost all new NAS come with samba server capabilities at least, then on formuler you can mount it and use it for recording and timeshifit!!!

I need someone to clarify me why image settings are all at 51. Colors look wrong. if i change to 49, it looks wrong. If i change on tv even worst. I have nvidia shield and mi box and there is no problems. The issue is more noticeable on faces (tone is red) and pink or orange objects are red. Whites are not entirely white.

I have z11 with 1080p 60HZ Ycbcr 444 8bits. If i change to Ycbcr 444 10 bits things get a bit better but not entirely correct. I think this would be solved if on image settings we were able to put it all at 50...I'm not sure why there is no neutral values.

Things got worst with the last updates, not sure which one, but this HDCP 2.2, HDR adaptative, so many settings i'm lost, but some neutral colors got lost...and now it looks weird. I have no errors with my provider, but with these colors i can't watch anything

Am i the only one with this problem? Already did factory reset. This happens on all aps on z11. On movies and series it's not so noticeable, but sometimes when someone is dressed in red, faces are red...

Already did, no change! Switched hdcp 2.2 to 1.4, no change, tried different image settings but everything i do there correct something and blow other stuff in the color department...

For example, last Barcelona vs Real Madrid match, i watched the match without breaks and without errors and most of the match when in game looks good, colors are correct until there is a goal and they focus players, some players got red face treatment, and supporters is worst, looks like they are with an imminent stroke or they were on the beach without protection. It looks wrong, but overall when there is green and blue things are fine, red levels are all over the place and as i said, everything else connected on my tv are fine, colors are correct, only z11 has this issue...already used 3 different hdmi cables (the ones i used with shield, isp box and mi box) and there is always this red tone everywhere on the z11 box, i can't get rid of it...

I have tested on 2 Tv's. One Sony, one samsung, same problem...

Other example, on a cartoon channel watching bugs bunny, carrots look red on z11,but they are fine on shield and mibox s... And the weird is all other colors are OK. Greens, blue, greys, black...only white is a bit "not white", but snow is full white and on live matches teams with white shirts are fine, full white, problem is mainly on faces and the absence of orange and pink...

Not MOL related. Everything on z11 looks reddish! I don't think it's hardware related, it's clearly software related, i'm not new to this stuff, im not returning the box because colors look reddish, this is ROM related, it needs to be fixed and im almost sure it will be fixed as soon as devs let us choose "50" on image settings, because "50" is neutral. It defaults to "51" and the previous value is "49", plain and simple, 51 gives the reddish tone and when all at 49 you get blue tone...Neutral is the way!!

yes firmware issue the increment will not allow 50.

Hi,NB,i am having the same issue although on some channels, i am also wondering whether you need to increase or decrease buffertime,or what other settings may fix the buffering,thats unpredictable and difficult to put on video.

1. set buffer to large in mol3 settings

2. disable vpn if enabled

3. some routers have a setting to give priority to streaming enable it if present.

4. other issues are related to isp latency and quality of iptv provider's server. (you can't do much on your end for this)

You can set buffer time to long, this will help.

Mytvonline3 > Menu > Settings > Player Settings > Buffer time set to long

As for any additional buffering, have you confirmed your internet isn’t dropping out occasionally.

For example, WiFi drop or if you’re using Powerline Adapters to convert signal to Ethernet ensure they’re not dropping connection.

If you’re using Ethernet, confirmed cable is suitable and undamaged

If you’ve eliminated it being an internet issue then it may be a provider issue

how is this possible?

standby will suspend processes so recording will stop it is not like the phone that will turn off display and still run apps example whatsapp voice conversation or simcard talking.

I to find this puzzling as i read in an old post by SAM,that the box in standby mode goes into a "sleep mode" for about 3 hours,so there should be no reason to stop recording?

for schedule recording the box will wake up from standby/sleep and after it will return to the standby power state.

if you go on standby during recording it will stop the recording.

enigma using Linux and z series using android which handle process differently.

example formuler remote can only send single key signal so if you have to use a two key shortcut it is not possible.

if you go on standby it will freeze mytvonline so recording will stop(no background processing)

is like a bare in hibernation or fish under the ice.

even the powerful pc if you put it in standby windows will stop recording.

Not always; if the programming is okay, you get a messagebox that Windows/IOS is prevented to shutdown or go into standby….. Office does that for instance 😉
