Beta Hotfix update - FW 11.2.2 and MOL 3 11.2.2 for Formuler Z11 Series released.

I don't see this Beta Hotfix showing up to install when i check for updates on Z11 pro max ? where do i get it to try it ? running 11.2.1 now

Update installed,great improvement in epg 4-5- days ahead,one day back.Makes life a lot easier for scheduled recordings.Great work Sam &team !

Just tried a scheduled recording and got a notification-recording failed to start-,maybe its down to the fact that i used the same USB stick that i used on my z10pro over the last few days?

hmmm ...I was a bit too optimistic on my earlier post ...

- EPG: I have some testproviders and notice some strange behaviour. Main provider = all ok. Some others needed an offset of -2 hours and some didn't. So all are then ok on the 'Guide'-EPG, but not on the 'ok+right click'-EPG (is this called the single EPG?), where those with offset of -2 hours are then 2 hours behind. One of them has no EPG on the 'ok+right click'-EPG. Strange ...

Playback works ok on the 'Guide'-EPG, but needs some adjusting forward on the 'ok+right click'-EPG

Time settings 12h or 24 makes no difference.

I hope this is clear enough and a solution could be found.

Great work this new update! Only still missing system screensaver by radio or other screensavers in the radio section. Still missing the option to put away or turn off the annoying notifications for new movies/series. Hope there will be a solution for this in the future.

Not sure if it's due to the new beta, but here are 2 issues I didn't have before:

1) 1st provider in list gets an '!' in the list of the portals, channels gave network error (I believe it was 404), vods & series couldn't be loaded. After a portal refresh & waiting about 5 minutes, all came back. Provider said there was no problem at their end.

2) After a search it takes much longer than before to show the results - also showing history, favourites and newly added movies & series takes longer than before.

Can anyone confirm?

I have installed the BETA HOTFIX and checked the EPG issues which I did experience sofar.

I change the "date & time" settings back to automatic (network provided time) and the time zone to GMT+02:00 (Central European Summer Time), as required for my location. In MOL3, first, I did not change the EPG offset (none)

This was resulting in showing the EPG grid and EPG channel info however with a 2 hour difference (info was from 2h in the past), however the single EPG list did show correct times and info.

Than I changed the EPG offset in MOL3 to -02:00 and this did result in a correct EPG grid and EPG channel info (both, time and info, are now correct), but than the single EPG list has a time difference of 2 hours ahead, thus for the correct info you have to look at the times 2 hours back (actual time 10:00 but correct info at 08:00).
The last issue was the same (at least for me in time zone Central Europe) when I did use the manual date & time settings, which was needed to have correct EPG grid and EPG channel info.
Conclusion on EPG issues; they are now solved, beside the 2 hours difference in the single EPG list, where I can live with, as I don't use it.

I like to thank to the whole support team end devs for all the hard work and efforts they spent to make this, in my opinion, a very good product.

Great improvement! Channel epg works with -2 hour offset. Also de guide (multi epg) works correct. Only single epg ( ok and then right arrow) has 2 hour difference.

Catchup works ok from the multi epg. Also VOD movie information is ok now.

You say that VOD movie information is ok now: do you see also the following for the vod movies: picture (in the full screen), preview, cast and media? I ask because on some providers I don't see this (but it's ok for series)

I have 2 lines 1 is good with the epg the other one is still wrong with the epg, must i do a reset after this update so the epg will work? Or must I play with the times ( in other apps both are no problem and at z10 PM also no problem)

Forgot to mention. I am using XC api on Z11 and mac on z10 PM

For series information is there, further only season and episode's no preview or whatever.

Is depending of your provider.

I have an issue on the Google Play Store.
I did not use it for a long time, so I'm not sure if it was there before.
I did try to open the Google Play Store, but It give me the below message.
I'm connected with network cable, wifi is disabled.

Always the same problem....EPG limited to H +/- 5h in GRID...and no way to record a show in the channel EPG...

Please help me...Itt's now 4 months with a box unusable...

So the single epg still has no record & remind function. even after the update!? Oh dear. Well that was the only thing i was looking Forward to on the latest update! Pointless doing the update now. Looking like we’ll have to go back to the previous formuler boxes to get this simple function back. It’s such a pain scrolling down the single epg to find a program on a certain day you’d like to record. But then have to go back out the single epg! Then go on the guide epg & do all the same again just to press record. when all other boxes we could simply press record on the single epg!! So puzzled why this feature has gone & not returned with the latest update, When i seen so many complaints about it.

Hdmi CEC, the wake TV/sleep option Formuler Z11 Pro Max still does not work with this update, when enabled, it displays the CEC wake-up message of power off mode not supported. It is therefore impossible to turn on or off the TV at the same time as the Formuler.

So I have no problem with that. My TV and Formuler box turn on at the same time. Only when I switch off the TV and the Formuler is still recording does the Formuler also switch off, so that the recording is not complete. I don't know if this has been fixed in BETA.

I doubt this is a provider issue, seems only to be in MOL3, TiviMate is ok.

Since this Beta, I really keep struggling with my main provider (= 1st in the list).

This time portal refresh didn't help, I had to restore a backup 2 times to get it back ok. Never had this before!

Not sure, but could be that the problem occurs after new content was added & renewed.

The provider said there was no problem at their end.

Anyone can confirm and/or any tips?

This really is a new bug - all was ok, then I did an update content, and as soon as I updated/renewed (top of the menu), this provider was disconnected!!

Edit: 3x Restore needed to get this provider connection back.

Edit2: also on TiviMate & other IPTV-apps this provider connection is gone (after renew content in MOL3)

Still very disappointed. No timer button in the Epg and only a few hours epg information ahead. How can you use the timer if i want to record a program for the next day?

Those 2 issues are the worst of the z11. Is anyone working on that right now and when can we finally get a solution for this?

You are probably on MAC connection,if so switch to XC (username,login and password),it improved my epg ahead for days.

Great ! with this update, there is no need to remove the air remote adapter ,when rebooting the device - everything works

i think ppl with XC API Portal dont have any epg i also have XC API Portal and have no epg or info

what so ever on any channles with the z11 but the z8 is fine with the same provider

Update on the provider connection issue.

Only problems with this 1 provider ; as soon as there's new content of this provider in MOL3, connection is lost (errors 404 and 1010) ; when this provider is disabled, all is ok for all other providers (also after update content) ; in TiviMate updates are ok with this provider ; however when connection is lost, it's lost in all apps ; needed to restore backup 3 or 4 times - this time after 4x still no connection.

Not sure if the problem is with Formuler (which I suppose) or with the provider (which I doubt, as all is ok in eg TiviMate).

Really hoping to get this sorted!

For me, the only issue I seem to experience is still with epg.

In the main epg grid it only shows 24 hours of programming, after that I still get no information.

But… in the condensed epg and pressing right direction as if to view catchup, it shows programming for current day and 5 days after.

I experience the same problem, so why has the single epg no record & remind function like in Mol2 , is it not possible or are devs working on it.

Problem with Google Play Store is solved.
I did clean caches and force to close some apps.
Not sure if that did the trick, anyway the Play Store workd again

little update on the lost connection of 1 provider after updating new content: problem still there - sometimes have to restore up to 6 times to get the connection back (still getting errors 404 en 1010 - only problem in MOL3 and with 1 provider - updates in eg TiviMate are ok).

Very very frustrating ...
