  • I'm currently retesting my Z11 Pro Max with the latest updates after putting it on the shelf for 9 months in favor of my Z10 Pro Max. I got a 1 month test for my current service for the Z11 yesterday and after setting up and letting things settle overnight I'm disappointed to find that the guide only shows back 24 hours. Prior to that everything says "No information". If I go to a single channel's EPG I can see back 8 days and catchup works back that far (or it did on two channels I tested). My service only says I get 5 days back so 8 was a surprise.

    Is there a fix for the full Guide or is the fix to keep using the Z10 Pro Max and finally sell the Z11 Pro Max to someone that does not care about the guide?

  • Based on another thread I changed the EPG to Alternate in the Content Manager for my service. This appears to have resolved the issue and my guide shows content back over a week and Catchup worked from 7 days ago. Maybe I can keep the Z11 Pro Max after all.

  • With the epg showing from the past,you are able to view shows/programs you have missed to watch in retrospect.

    This only applies to channels that have marked the show/program marked by a red circle,it depends on your provider if,and how many days ago this is possible. :grinning_squinting_face:

  • I assume this means it's possible to watch some TV programming that has already occurred. That could be useful.

    It is, and when you come in on a show or movie that's already started, you can just pop back to the beginning. Or if 2 shows overlap, watch one then the other.

    Youre not going blind,you just have to click on epg mode in content source,in order to set it to alternate :smiling_face:

  • Unless you are not on MAC-ID connection,you should have the option alternate in EPG mode.

    You are probably not on stalker protocol but XCAPI

    For XCAPI we are still waiting for a fix for the EPG guide.

    It is addressed so we just need to be patient until the developers come up with a fix.

    If you want you can ask your provider to switch you from XCAPI to stalker.

  • I have several customers with Z11 Pro's that get "No Information" on their EPG, we have tried Refresh, Clear & Update EPG, resetting line & rebooting box, etc. with no fix. I just read the Alternate EPG option but don't see that on my Z11 Pro Max. I have 8 services currently connected, could this be why I'm not seeing the option? All of my services are XCAPI. We cannot isolate the issue to any one service provider or internet provider.

    If you read through the treads above you can read there is no "alternate EPG option" for users on XCAPI protocol.

    This option is only available for stalker protocol.

    That there is no EPG at all is strange because as far as I know there is 24 hour EPG ahead on XCAPI protocol.

    Try starting the box-> clear cache of MOL3 ->start MOL3->refresh (channel feed) ->clear and update EPG.

    If that does not work contact your provider.

    Maybe they can send a personal EPG link.

    Other alternative is to ask the provider to put you on Stalker protocol so you have the option to choose "alternate EPG".

    Thank you, your suggestion on changing EPG to Alternate fixed this exact same issue i was having like you.

  • Hi,you have to be on Stalker (MAC-ID) connection, go mol3menu>content Manager>Content Sources>scroll to epg mode>set it to alternate
