there is no way for the epg to work
does not show information of the channels
the problem is not solved with any update
I think that it is time for formulary to do something or to provide us with a plugin for this problem

I think i know what you mean. When you change to Channel then appear for first time "No Informations" after 2 sec. is EPG Data loaded, right?

I will collect all EPG requests and send to Formuler. This could cost some time until they optimise EPG, please be patience.
Dirty Dog
Change the value from 1 to 4 hours. EPG -> Blue Button (EPG Option) -
Sam I have done that and it makes absolutely no difference.

Ganz komisch.EPG auf einmal geht wieder.nicht ganz flüssig.langsam aber läuft wieder.Ich habe Einstellungen 4 stunden eingestellt.

I also have mine set to 4 hours but it only shows the programme which is on and the next one and no more. What does yours show, do you get a full epg?

same problem, EPG shows old information not the current info...
EDIT: after upgrade to 1.5.2 and factory reset EPG seems to be OK now.

After the factory reset is your epg still working? Mine is terrible at the moment, it might as well not exist. It is blank most of the time, doesn’t self populate (only sometimes while changing channel will it populate, but only on that channel) but if yours is working properly I’ll give a reset ago. Formuler reckon it will be 2-3 months to do an update which is a shame, it’s such a good box in my opinion.

In the future, when reporting EPG issues, please include the Satellite/Provider info.
Formuler is currently working on EPG compatibility for OpenTV and MediaHighway EPG protocol providers.
If your provider is using a different EPG scheme, please include that info in this thread.

Will check these packages in the coming days.

I was just about to order a Z7+ before i read this post about the epg being slow, is it just the MYTVOline app that’s at fault, as my iptv provider has their own app for the Z7+ will i still have the same problem ?.

Is only MYTVonline issue but will with coming Update be fixed. If you use Provider own App then is all ok.

Please can you add the option for an EPG link to be added in the normal DVB/IPTV section, it works in the stalker portal but due to using the box in my sons room I like to delete channels which I can't do in MYTVONLINE
I've added the m3u in the IPTV service section but it needs another input for an epg link which my provider supplies

Thanks for the feedback and feature request.
Adding the xmltv EPG download link to the DVB interface is something the engineers are working on now.
We plan to release this feature in the coming months. -

Its weird that this has never been fixed and is now the same problem on 8. Why has the EPG descriptions never been fixed using M3U playlists.

Why don`t you use EPG url?
EPG XML URL should look like in this example: "http://provider.com/xmltv.php?username=11111&password=22222".

That is exactly what I am doing on the Z8 and it does not work if you are using M3U Playlists. EPG works perfect if you use MAC address. With xmltv URL I only get the program name but no description of what the program is about. Tried it with more than one provider.
