anyone else using the amazon prime app on the z11 pro max having issues? it starts fine but will not play videos it simply says cannot play right now with a link to their help page. the app works fine on all my other devices. i have uninstalled it rebooted and reinstalled with the same results, any suggestions

Im busy for you now my friend.
Dont have a z11 to test.
But u test it in my Z8. Its a older model but fine.
Amazonprime is minimal for android 5 and z8 had android 7.

I tested it on my z8.
From installing to startup amazone prime is make pictures.
After installing the app you can only open from the desktop.
And it works here.
If it dont work at your side. Maby they didnt support android 11. But i doubt that.

thanks for all your help it is appreciated for sure, but i still get the "something went wrong" message when trying to play any movies yet live tv seems to work. This app was working fine until about 4 days ago then just stopped working, i thopught it may be my account but it works on my smart tv, my tablet, my phone etc no problem.
I dont have an account for prime.
I was able to play one trailer of a movie. Thats worked fine.
But i can not test further cause i dont have an account.
Did you updatet to anewer version 3 days ago?
Maby check also prime app permissions.
I have an Amazon prime account, but never use prime video. I use stremio instead as I much prefer having anything all in one app.
Regardless installed prime video from the Google play store, signed in.
One video said something went wrong. Another video played fine in hd hdr.

well after trying a number of differernt apk files still no luck so i suppose i wait for an update

I tried then with a account from my friend for 1 day and if it works i sent you the apk my friend.
Hes got a formuler gtv, the download version on the gtv with android tv is the same i sent to you. At his site it work, but thats the official AndroidTV.

There come a new amazon app. August 13th it was there. Version 6.18.
Yet downloadeble for apk splitinstaller.
Think that to difficult for you so waiting som days and its to download for normal apk.

I have zero problems with Amazon prime on Z Mini.
Just installed from Google store. Everything is working, UHD, HDR, sound etc.
Don't own Z 11 pro anymore,but it was working there as well.
Maybe is time for hardware reset...

Please try to log out Prime Video on other devices before connecting on Formuler.
