Is there a Firewall setup ? possible port being blocked.

This problem comes always from firewall and port settings.
CodeI brought my Formulate to a friend so he could test my new subscription. I wanted to connect it in Ethernet, no connection, wifi, no connection ... Why… ? I check into the settings, Ethernet, i have the IP, but no connection. WIfi, same... I connected my smartphone in wifi without problem in his place. Back at home, my Formuler connected without any problem.
the device needs to be able to ping 8.8.8.8
otherwise it thinks there is no internet connection
the method to check for internet connectivity will be improved in a future software release.
the engineers are aware of the current implementation's shortcomings
also at ethernet settings on formuler you have clicked at your friends home @ automatic ip???
Then should the formuler box get an ip from the router of your friend
