  • I bought Formuler Z8. I want to test iptv and whatever I would enter. Connecting to .... 10% - Your account is blocked or expired. Contact Your service provider Code 7.

    I have a test for the whole week so the account has not expired.

    I don't know what I'm doing wrong ???

    after 5 or 6 attempts it connects.


    seriously thinking about scrapping this bloody Z8 box off because it’s become more hassle than it’s worth.

    Fed up of resetting the box, fed up with uninstalling and reinstalling MTOL2


    Fed up of VOD and Series buffering (doesn’t on any other device)


    fed up of connecting, disconnecting and reconnecting.

    What is going on with this box / app, it’s become terrible.


    no it’s not my provider issue of that I’m 100% sure of because I use multiple devices and the issues only occur with this device.


    what in the world is going on? So many problems all the time! Frustrating

    In this time check if your box have full internet connection.

    Seems your box need to much time to get full internet connection, try with change to Ethernet.

  • After the latest update a few weeks ago, the box worked perfectly... nothing has changed since then but the past week and more so the past few days, issues have really taken hold.

    I struggle to believe it’s an internet issue as the box is connected both Ethernet and WiFi.

    As mentioned it was ok previously but issues started the past few days but again nothing in my setup has changed and internet has been consistently great for a very long time even during said issues.


    very frustrating.


    I do however appreciate your replies during this troublesome time but I’m at a loss because it doesn’t happen on any other device, just this one

  • If I would have the same issue I would disable wifi and connect the box directly to the internet provider modem/router via a cable to see if it makes a difference.

    And never use the standby function. Only use "Power off" and "Restart".

    After trying the box like that for a few days I would try other options if the issues remain the same.

  • Ok thanks for the info.

    The box doesn’t get put into standby... when it reboots from being powered off, the box boots, starts attempting to connect to MTOL as that’s the startup app and then goes into standby (blue screen) until I turn it back on again.

    It didn’t do that when it was first updated but then as mentioned it started happening over the past week again, alongside the other issues of course

    Powered off trough box or did you cut the power supply. Somehow i read the last one because your box get into last state after cut the power supply.

    This would explain why is your internet not ready before you start to connect with provider espez. if you set mytvonline as startup app.

    Also, only one should be active, Wifi or Ethernet. Complete Router restart (power off) should also be done from time to time.

    BTW. Please don`t hijack next time the thread from someone else! Thread starter has almost same but not exactly same issue like you.

    Tell us please how do you connect and what did you done?

    Portal or Playlist included? What exactly: ID with stalker portal and registered ID on portal side, XC Api or m3u Playlist? This are important infos.

  • Apologies for hijacking the thread. It does relate to the same issue as the original poster however I’ve added more issues.


    as mentioned I connect via portal, login username password url. The setup has not changed when everything was fine so that can’t possibly be the issue.

    If disconnected WiFi and stayed on Ethernet so that addresses the error... for now


    however the box going in to standby state after being powered on does that regardless of what I do. That’s always been the same.


    please understand that people like me don’t want to have the box turned on at the socket all of the time. I like to power off completely.

    Surely as a standard thing regardless of the box being in standby first or on the home screen before powering off, the device should boot to the home screen when powered on. I really can’t understand why this firstly does not happen and if it’s meant to be that way it should be altered.


    maybe this should go in the features request.

    It just seems to me MTOL2 has all of a sudden become quite problematic for various reasons. Hopefully it’s resolved in the next update

    Reviving this topic as it looks like a similar issu as mine.


    I have purchased the z8 recently used it yesterday for the 1time, have entered the portal and I get the same error 7 at 10% when trying to connect. I have been live with my provider and we tried everything we could with no luck. Tried as many attempts as I could with no luck. IPTV portal is the main reason I have purchased this box and it is very frustration, I have until Jan 30th to return it for free hopefully will sort this out and won’t have to return.


    tried with vpn with no luck
    the internet is 100% ok

    The portal address ok


    using all last updates for z8 and MyOnlineTV2


    Any ideas?

  • Is the ID for example -> 00:1A:79:xx:xx:xx<- properly registered? Would explain the 10% load and error7.

    Second, your provider must support Stalker and not Ministra, Ministra connection doesn`t work.

  • It is setup properly in his end, id as well as the MAC He even sent me a pic of his setup.


    might be Ministra is the reason why then, it is unfortunate to hear that I have to stick to my old box.

  • Of course, after a power outage, I need to reconnect to the iptv provider.

    And here the lottery begins. Either it will connect the first time or 6....

    Once connected, it works well, but this joining is a massacre.

    It spoils all the joy of this device.

    I thought it would be a better solution but I was disappointed.

    There is no indication whether you want to connect via the URL portal or via M3U.

    Either it connects or crashes errors e.g. 11 or 12....

    I see that it's not just me who has such problems.

    These new software updates add nothing to this topic. Maybe instead of correcting some stupidities, Formuler would finally improve the basic issue of being able to connect quickly with an iptv provider.

    I am thinking of buying equipment from another producer...

  • Error 11 -> m3u URL invalid/incorrect

    Error 12 -> M3u file/URL timeout exceeded

    How to -> How to use MAC/ID portal, Xtreme Codes Api (XC) and M3U Url on Formuler Boxes.

    If you use normal M3U in playlist and portal url in portal, this should work without any problems, of course only if you have good provider and the url have supported standard. I say this because some providers use his own url`s out of standard and this is not working.

    Did you ever recheck your m3u or portal url with app like Tivimate, to see if the source of your issues are the box and MOL2 or the provider him self?

    Did you ever test provider trial from some other place with big provider to see how they work? VPN tested? etc...

    I am thinking of buying equipment from another producer...

  • I tested various suppliers and always a lottery connection ... either works the first time or after some time.

    The problem is on the box side and not on the supplier side.

    As I try to connect only via the URL (I have a login and password) it goes quickly but most often the VOD itself loads without Live TV ....

    Error 11 - I have everything well written in MYTVonline2.

    I wonder if throwing a M3U file to USB would have the desired effect.

    I saw these Formuler instructions what where and how to enter. This is not the first time I have to deal with iptv.

    I also watched videos on youtube where everything works great etc. This convinced me to buy this box.

    And the reality is completely different ....
